This is a gorgeous house with lots of very cool amenities. Hot tub was wonderful and got used almost every night. We had a hard time working the movie room, and never received a response to our inquiries. The bedrooms are extremely bright with inadequate curtains. Really a simple fix. One of the bedrooms in fact has skylights with no coverings. The beds are old and uncomfortable and the furniture is also quite old and uncomfortable inside the house. Outdoor seating was great. Outdoor space was great. Dishwasher needs to be repaired or replaced. Nothing that was significantly concerning, but at this price point, without direct lake access, we really expected the furniture to be quite a bit better. The musical instruments were super cool and we appreciated access to them. Lots of bikes available. Lots of helmets available. It’s really a great house, just need to do something about the price or upgrade the furniture.

We stayed here while our house was being restored from a water leak and we loved this house! Location was beautiful. The theater was our favorite part!

There were many things in the house that were missing batteries, didn't work, or were not connected. I'm being generous with the "4" rating. It's more like a 3 1/2.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you again Rick for sharing your beautiful property and being an awesome host!

Lovely home that was well furnished and had many fun extras like the trampoline and sauna. Loved the expresso machine. Kitchen was well stocked and views from the top balcony were excellent

A weekend away done right
Our host Rick was wonderfully accommodating in ensuring we had a great stay at his property. The place is absolutely lovely & has all of the amenities we needed for a comfortable vacation. It is hosts like this one that has restored our faith after a not so great experience with Vrbo

Place was great
We had a nice time at this property. Great bathrooms. Could have been a little cleaner. Sheets were maybe old so was carpet in the first level.

Great house to to entertain families
We had 3 families stay at this property and it was great having 3 different levels for us to spread out. Beautiful kitchen with everything you could need to cook and newly renovated bathrooms well stocked.

Nice house
Fit our group very well. Plenty of activities to do on the property. Cold and rainy in January so used sauna and hot tub. Infant gates on stairs. Great stove and oven. Only one bed was declared as lumpy. Nice bathrooms with two awesome tubs. Dishwasher was well used but worked. Easy entering and checking out processes. Easy to find and well located to 520

Perfect wedding weekend homebase
My spouse and I hosted the members of our wedding party here so that everyone from out-of-town could stay together throughout the wedding weekend. The house was beautiful and just as depicted in the listing. We had our hair/makeup stylists join us at the house, and our photographer got some excellent shots of us all getting ready. The lighting is superb and there's lots of areas for everyone to gather and also have private space to themselves.
Everything we could have possibly needed, we found at the house - including a music speaker! We managed to fit all the cars we needed to in the driveway, though we did have to plan who parked in which order.
The only inconveniences we had were minor - some couches would have been more comfortable if they were pull-outs, there was an unexpected lack of towel hooks, and we had some trouble figuring out what light switches did what (some seemed to do nothing?). But overall, a wonderful place to stay and prep for our wedding day, with just a few minor quirks.

Relaxed and casual - Great location
A very relaxed atmosphere and large home with lots of activity opportunities offered by the hosts! Kitchen is perfect for large groups to gather while making meals together with a chef-style range and ovens! Views of the lake and privacy, too! A bonus!

amazing retreat for the family
Property had everything anyone could hope for. All the bells and whistles. The location is very peaceful. Close to the water, right on the bike trail, and near to the town. It is far enough out of town to feel like you are out of the rat race - but 15 minutes and you are in downtown Bellevue or just 6 minutes and there is a whole foods with everything. My kids LOVED it! Thanks Rick it was a blast!

Disappointing, Beware of misleading information and not true to words.
The home was a very beautiful place to stay. My family and I were very excited to be at this location and planned to spend the weekend there to celebrate a 30th birthday. However, the property owner/ host was was misleading in the initial ad. Stating that the home is available to host large events and parties. No where does it mention that there is additional $1500 fee “to pay the “neighbors” I was told AFTER the fact I had already reserved and paid for 2 nights. We decided to keep it to smaller group to enjoy the home anyhow. After getting a warning for “loud music” utilizing the amenities provided in the home; speakers, drum set etc...) We got an anxious text first thing in the morning telling us to immediately leave the home. We were quite confused and explained Rick that we did no damage to the property or had we broken any rules. Not wanting to stay unwelcomed, we agreed to vacate within the hour, even cleaned up the house for him. Rick agreed to refund the other half back to me. It’s been almost two weeks and aside from texts messaging from Rick saying that he will send the refund. I have yet to receive anything and now he is unresponsive. I would recommend this home to others but after dealing with the unprofessional and flaky home owner I question the integrity of this business. Beware when booking because the host might change his mind on you and evacuate early and ghost on your refund.

Very uncomfortable, in disrepair and falsely advertised. Ask to see the inside before renting.
We reserved this over-priced house for a 3 week stay during the pandemic shut down. The yard looks great but the inside and outdoor seating areas are the opposite of "Resplendent". On arrival, we were disappointed and felt ripped off. The pictured living room couches, a computer monitor, and two desk chairs were NOT IN THE HOUSE. These falsely advertised pictures remain on his VRBO website as of this review! We couldn't use the projection screen until dark because the shades were missing making it too light to see the screen. That evening we couldn't watch either because the sectional was cheap, old and unsupportive. The faux leather was so slippery, we'd slide to the edge of the uneven cushions and be stuck sitting on the seat's wood frame. The music room furniture was not much better, consisting of one "couch" that designed for one adult. The owner admitted to us the furniture was more for kids in those rooms. There were no end tables or coffee tables to set drinks on in all gathering spaces. The sliding glass door exit to the back yard downstairs could not be used because the handle was missing. The decks look horrible, need boards replaced and restraining. The 2nd story deck rail, that is the main support, has the top portion entirely ripped off and dry rot is setting in. It amazed me that the owner does not replace this because of safety and liability. The teak furniture on that deck is very old and boards are warping and starting to have dry rot. Disrepair: A cracked door and window, chunks of wood missing from door frames, no light bulbs in the dark basement laundry room, two story stairs outside leading to the front door needed pressure washing and are slippery. As for cleanliness, the front yard had piles of dog poop. The drip coffee maker had a moldy drip cone with grounds in it. Heated floors and walls fireplaces did not work. The owner was very friendly when we booked but when we contacted him to tell him we could not stay for three weeks because of the furniture etc, his only concern was trying to keep his huge payment and not getting a bad review. He offered to bring in one recliner, remove the sectional, bring a desk and pressure wash the stairs. It was simply unacceptable and insufficient. He tried to make us feel guilty and bad for him. In the end, he refused any refund for the 17 days we did not stay. We disputed the charge with Visa using pictures to support the above complaints. Visa sided with us. Inspect before renting!

Great for a distanced family gathering!
My husband and I stayed at Rick's property in September 2020. We had a small family gathering with several households coming together to spend time together during the day, and there was plenty of space for us to spread out and enjoy spending time together while being careful about social distancing. Just what we were looking for!

Disappointed
Very misleading, no beach access, instruction for tv needs to be updated, beds very uncomfortable, landscaping was done three days of our stay unpleasant smell, very overpriced, access to trail is nice, but lots of road noise, I would not recommend this place

This house has it all
My family (2 adults and 3 kids under 6) stayed here for a long weekend. We are a local Seattle family but wanted a little getaway on Lake Sammamish. Gorgeous master suite, huge kitchen, theater/game room and plenty of space to spread out. We accidentally locked ourselves out and the owner, Rick, came to our rescue! We had a great time.

Great place and location
Our family (with two young boys) had a great time at this wonderful property. It had everything you could ask for (and more!), and was so well located. Rick was very helpful with initial communications and was always quick in responding to questions. Definitely worth it in every way.

Great long weekend reunion!
The house was gorgeous and very spacious with lots of bedrooms and a homey feel. Backyard, patio, and decks were also very spacious with nice views of the water. Hottub was a great time. Host was fantastic in communication (with prompt responses and messages) with all home details and how to work some the appliances at his home.

Wonderful house and massive!
We had a great time hosting an event at this property. It's gorgeous, massive, and has some incredible facilities (looking at you, backyard sauna). Rick is also extremely communicative and always responded to us quickly whenever we had a question about the property.

GREAT STAY!
We reserved Rick's property last fall for a family gathering to celebrate the holidays together the first week of the new year. From our first inquiry Rick was quick to provide detailed information and answer our questions. Located near Redmond, WA it is near shops, stores and restaurants and has easy access Seattle. We stayed six nights and found the house to be well appointed, fabulously updated, and provided abundant space for our family gathering. We appreciated the attention to details and the cleanliness of the house. We recommend this property.

Great for family Christmas!!
This is our 2nd stay at this house. It fits our growing family( grandchild) well! The location is perfect as grown kids are mostly surrounding Seattle area. The owner is great to work with and responds quickly to questions or concerns.
The house is fully stocked with any appliance you may need . The double oven is commercial grade and takes care of multiple items at a time. Recent updates the the bathrooms are beautiful and amazing. They even provide toiletries and extra stock for paper towels etc. the sauna and hot tub were great, theatre room was good and plenty of space to spread out . Thanks!!

Homeaway Wedding Stay
This house is beautiful, situated in a picturesque location and very well stocked. Our large family cooked in the kitchen easily. We were disappointed that we had difficulty with some tvs in the bedrooms and could not get them to work. We also did not see any queen size pull out beds in the theater room so two family members slept on the sofa.
I definitely recommend the home.

Great Stay
We visit Seattle a lot but typically stay downtown. I was looking for another part of town to stay. This home is in a beautiful location next to Lake Sammamish. There also is a great path right outside the front door that follows the shoreline.
The house itself was just what we were looking for. There were only 3 of us but there is plenty of room for a larger group.
The best part though was the kitchen. Instead of having to go out for dinner every night we wanted to make dinner at home. We had everything we needed to make a great meal. Also there is a Whole Foods and Fred Meyer within a few miles.
The owner is very responsive. We had no issues but had a couple questions. I received responses almost immediately.
We will definitely be using this house again.

Large and wonderful home!
We stayed here for 3 nights with all our adult kids and grandson.we had a great weekend! there is plenty of space to spread out and have down time, or lots of space to gather and hang out. I would suggest a couple extra folding chairs for the dining table... we had to use bar stools so everyone could sit. The kids used the sauna and the hot tub and the trampoline... High marks from everyone! The power went out while we were there- huge windstorm in the area. Not anyone’s fault. We improvised and were still able to finish the 11 pound prime rib, potatoes and green bean casserole using the giant stove top, foil over a roaster pan and ingenuity! The kitchen is amazingly stocked.. and the whole house has plenty of towels, soap, candles, batteries, flashlights etc! Huge saver during the storm. The owner let us know he had gone shopping for a generator afterwards, which is great . But seriously,it didnt detract. Would stay here again for sure! Convenient to Redmond stores if you need supplies too!
