Enjoyed Anchors Away. Host is very communicative and everything ran smoothly throughout. Vintage game console is fun. Deck is quite large. Very nice view from elevated position above the lake.

My family enjoyed our stay, especially the outdoor amenities. Fantastic hot tub, huge deck, games, drink cooler works amazingly, sweet views of the lake, and even better views from the upstairs deck. Host was really great we couldn’t ask for more. My son now wants to move in to this home!

My family visited with 2 kids and a baby and our neighbors who have 3 young girls. We had a blast. The deck is so huge and overlooks Canyon Lake. It has a hot tub and fire pit along with corn hole for the kids. The weather was perfect so we spent most of our time outside. We were even able to see a few wild deer. We also enjoyed renting a boat at the Canyon Lake marina. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. The owner even provided a pack and play for my baby. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely place, very clean and organized. Best equipped kitchen I’ve seen. Grounds were beautiful and we had a fabulous and relaxing time.

We stayed here because we had a family wedding to attend. It was a wonderful stay! We would definitely book again!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving and it was a good time to disconnect and spend some good family time with the grandparents visiting from Ohio. There was no shortage of deer and the views were amazing! I really liked having a double tier patio where people could come and go as they please and get some alone time when needed. Bridgette was a very responsive and accommodating guest and helped me through an issue with an unexpected issue (loud party of college kids that rented the next door house). I know that’s out of her control but it was very nice to have someone to talk to about the issue. Fortunately they left the second day anyways and we had the place to ourselves! I would definitely recommend to anyone in the future and it’s the perfect place for family (grandparents and teenage kids, infant all had a great time). The arcade and hot tub were a big hit as well. 5 stars!

This house was great for our family to get together! The house had one of the best supplied kitchens I've stayed in and was clean. Great view and near one of the few boat ramps that was actually open (due to the low water). Property manager was great with communication.

This property was beyond amazing! It had everything you could ever need. The house was clean and beautiful. The views can’t be beat. The sunsets were breathtaking. The owner was super sweet. We had the best time. We’ve stayed at several properties in the hill country and this one is by far our favorite!!

This was the perfect house for our 2 families of 4 to meet in hill country, TX! First time here, and we hope to return. My favorite feature of this house was the massive deck with every accessory you could think of. We enjoyed our coffee (and wine) outside every day, played corn hole, roasted s’mores and enjoyed the hot tub. The views could not be topped. The home decor matched the easy breezy vibes here, beds were comfy, and we were well stocked with everything we needed to eat in or cook out. Would definitely recommend this home for anyone looking to explore this beautiful area. Bridgette was more than hospitable and very responsive. Thanks for a fantastic long weekend on Canyon Lake!!

The home was lovely! Very clean and decorated nicely. The view off the large deck was amazing and peaceful! Beds were very functional and the owner was accommodating. I was so impressed with how the space was used so wisely to allow for many people to stay!

The property location and view of the lake is awesome.

It was everything we wanted and then some. Me and my 2 sisters in laws stayed the weekend. Went to Gruene and Fredericksburg did some shopping. Came back to a very relaxing jacuzzi!! Would book again!

The property was very clean, super cute, and so comfortable! I love that there were toiletries provided in each bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Qtips, Cotten pads, etc). The beds were very comfortable- I felt like I was at home. The gas fire pit and hot tub on the deck were so nice. The kids (and my husband) loved the pc man game! Thanks Bridgette for everything!

Anchor's away is a dream rental! I've rented all over the world and this is one of the best stays we've had. I've never encountered such a thoughtful host. Every single detail was covered and we wanted for nothing. I brought things other rentals don't usually have and I never needed them. The panoramic view from the main living area is a dream! Rainy weather? no problem! TWO giant covered patios, an old school arcade with the classics, a chest with tons of games...BBQ pit and firewood made for an amazing dinner of steaks on the lake and s'mores. We were a group of 9 and had plenty of room to spread out. Love that the giant deck is closed off very well so as not to worry about small children taking off or animals coming in. Full disclosure-- you should know that the stairs (which are beautifully lit and VERY well built) are a hike down to the water so someone with a handicap may not be able to make that trek. But for those that can, WOWWWW! The trip down is much worth every step! There is seating and just a picturesque scene waiting for smores, fishing, hiking along the shore (bring good shoes). I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Beds were all super comfy! Restaurants, dollar store, everything is close by but not too close. Bridgette was always just a text away and made the process so easy and wonderful. Thanks for making me a total hero to my family!
