OMG we loved everything!! The cottage was just perfect, so beautifully decorated, comfortable and pleasure to come home to after a long day out. The host left the most amazing welcome package. It is so central to the shops, pubs, restaurants in the village. A short drive to the Lakes District. 20 out of 10!!

No heat in kitchen but if you closed the door it was fine

really nicely appointed great location. beds v comfy. responsive host. walks from door, good pubs and places to eat as well as easy access to sales and lakes

Found the skylight in the 2nd bedroom meant that it was very light in the room very early which didn’t help with sleep. the outside space was not v private and the people from number 10 parked right in front of kitchen window/split door which wasn’t good. For us at this time of year the duvets were too warm. but these were minor things in the scheme of things.
