The space was comfortable and the fan in room #4 was amazing. it blocked out the sounds and made sleep comfortable. the art work was exceptional. the view of the river and the sound of the river at night was amazing.

the sharing of the amenities was my only issue.... some guest didnt keep the shared space clean.

The property is tastefully decorated and peaceful. There are many sitting areas and the bed is super comfortable. In addition there is a full size kitchen available. This is the perfect spot to chill with the background sound of the river and crickets. Not sure it is the same owners as Mobay Kotch in Montego Bay but if it was I would not be surprised! Different set up but good vibes in both properties.

the terrace was really nice the rooms are nicely designed and styled sounds of the river below very relaxing friendly and helpful staff

there were some building materials on the path to the river and in the river from the building works being carried out. had to be careful with children not getting injured because of no railings on high steps or scrap metal pieces in the yard.

As a regular returning guest at Gordon Town Kotch, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are looking for an oasis of tranquility away from the bustle of Kingston then this is the place for you. The home is very clean and tidy, I always have a comfortable stay. Mishka and William go above and beyond to help you when they can and are very knowledgeable about Gordon Town and surrounding areas. The location is great; located off the tourist track, Gordon Town is a quieter town near Kingston. There are hikes and walks to do nearby, equally, is a great place if you want a few days to chill and relax.

Can be tricky to find on maps, but a shared location helps you get there.

The guest house is located right beside Hope River, so you're basically surrounded by the soothing sounds of rushing water, which is something pretty special. It's a beautiful, quiet and relaxing space that's got everything you need. The hosts also definitely know how to make you feel right at home! Don't miss out on taking a walk up into the Blue Mountains, or up the river, which is right at your feet. This was the perfect home base. I stayed for a full week and still didn't get to see everything I would have liked in the Kingston area.

Nothing to complain about. Just know that to explore other parts of Kingston, you'll need to do a bit more travelling, since the location isn't central. It's the trade off for the peace and quiet offered here :).
