I and my two daughters and their young families spent 4 days here, we were in town for a family wedding. We had a wonderful time, the house was really lovely with great views of the ocean from living room and decks. It was generously stocked with everything you could want, the hosts Gina and Greg , have thought of everything, from beach towels and chairs, frisbee and volleyball, grill, a well stocked kitchen, laundry facilities in garage, easy parking for two cars, and a pretty easy walk directly down the street to beach. The house is in a super nice quiet neighborhood but very close by are the beach, shops and restaurants. Since we had small children with us we found a very cool sand dune park .3 mile walk from the house. Surrounded by beautiful gardens. We also enjoyed the little free aquarium at the end of Manhattan Beach Pier, about 1 mile walk down the Strand which is a fun beautiful walk in itself. The hosts were so responsive to all our questions, and so hospitable. The beds were very comfortable, and supplied with really nice linens. My 6’ 8” son in law so appreciated having a comfortable king bed to stretch out in. It’s just a lovely place, with great owners. You will enjoy it. It’s definitely a 5-star experience!!

This was an absolutely ideal property for our small business planning retreat. The 3rd floor open floor plan, multiple outdoor spaces, 2nd floor private bedrooms, and two-car driveway made for a convenient, comfortable stay. Linens, towels, and kitchen amenities were top-notch. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful — the beach is a few blocks away, and it’s only a brief drive to the downtown area. Communication with property owners was also exceptional. The only minor complaint was the daytime noise from neighborhood maintenance (e.g. lawn teams, garbage trucks) and home reconstruction, but it didn’t interfere whatsoever with our overall stellar experience. I’ve never been a big fan of southern California, but now I can’t wait to return to Manhattan Beach thanks to our stay at this property!

We were in Manhattan Beach for a holiday family reunion. This house was perfect! With all the bedrooms on the middle level the upper level with an amazing view of the ocean was enjoyed by all. There was plenty of room to spread out so some of us could play a game or puzzle while others had quiet reading time, etc. SUNSETS - holy cow! Just gorgeous. The outdoor area is killer! and we enjoyed having bikes to roam the strand. Gina and Greg were both incredibly responsive to any questions we had. The 3 levels of stairs were tough on our older family members.. something to note, but not anything that detracted from the amazing experience. Thank you!

Finally a proper home away from home. Very nice and well kept house, with all you need, all you need for cooking, well maintained and clean. It is/was a lived in house so you can find all you need, not a typical rental with the basic or less than the basic. The owner is next door for anything you need and they are really really nice. This beautiful and spacious home was just what we were looking for. The home is very accomodating with a spacious living area, excellent balconies, and a very nice kitchen. There was plentiful space for our group and this made our stay in the area very enjoyable. We would highly recommend this home to stay in.

Great beach house; near to both the north end of town and downtown! It is a residential area, so very quiet and family friendly. It can accommodate between 10-15 people and has a very open living space. The bedrooms are on the small size, except for the master bedroom which is large and has a spa tub. Their is no AC, and the bedrooms can be toasty in the summer! With windows and doors open, the living area stays cool with great ocean breezes! The main balcony views and spaces are a great extension of the indoor living spaces. The kitchen is a good size and designed well with modern appliances and a coffee machine. The bench seating around the generous island is a plus! The outdoor deck and fire pit are a great space for hanging out with ocean views. The garage has some beach cruising bikes, boogies boards, beach chairs and umbrellas! There is also a ping pong table !! A washer/ dryer are available for your use. Their are some minor negatives: there is expected wear and tear of carpets, furniture and the grills. Also, the neighbors do not tolerate 'loud gatherings' and will call the owner if they perceive things are getting out of hand! Otherwise, this is an awesome space for a great South Bay vaca!!!

A great place if you have a fairly large crowd- 6 adults and two kids- we never felt on top of each other- several balconies that were used ie some for workwith their laptops. bedrooms on the second floor which gave room and enough quiet . Loved the neighborhood-More than enough bathroom towels and beach towels-bikes, boogie boards to use. The home is lovely and just a few minor - carpets could use a cleaning, recomend newer sheets AND mattress cover at least in the master bedroom. Also one of the burners on the range was not in working order. But overall a lovely home. We walked to the beach every day which was easy as all downhill- for those of us who wanted the workout we did the same coming back from the beach- Gina was very helpful with aps to get ie the downtowner and the restaurant delivery which we used! Walking to downtown was easy and fun. When the dryer was on the fritz- Greg was quick to get right people in to fix. We had a truly wonderful time and i would recommend this lovely home- Oh one more suggestion- we "childproofed" the home as there were breakable artwork etc- ie vases - easy enough to do. Also there are enough bathrooms for a large crowd. Wish we were back there right now!

We had a lovely stay in Manhattan Beach. This was our families first time and we loved it. The bikes were awesome to use, plenty of towels and beach chairs, and they had everything you'd need for the beach. I was a bit surprised out how worn things were, especially in the kitchen (carpet, cabinets). The kitchen may need some attention with organizing and making sure there is everything needed (scissors, hand towels, dish rags). I also agree with one of the last reviews about the extra twin bed in with the Queen. It was very difficult to get in the bed as there was such limited space in the room with the blue bedspread. The bedroom situation was different than what was presented when we booked our stay. Overall, though we had a great time and would recommend this location. Thank you for your generosity and helpfulness while we were there.

great location, awesome views, Greg and his sister own the place and were very helpful and accommodating. Quick to respond to any need. The house is very big for MB, we had 10 people, all young adults. House has bikes, beach chairs, surf boards, you name it. The house is also a little worn down, carpets needs replacing, house needs updating, but those are really minor points. Have to remember its a beach house with a lot of people traffic. We would definitely want to come back. Greg, thanks for everything. GREAT stay.

We recently stayed here in Manhattan Beach, and truly enjoyed our visit. It was a great space for our family of 6 adults, with a nice living area on the top floor which had lovely and was quite comfortable. The owners provided some extras such as bikes and chairs for the beach, which we were able to use. The beach is just a few blocks away, and restaurants to the main area were maybe a 15 minute walk which made this a great location. If I were looking to stay here again, I would like to be aware that the furniture, rugs, and carpet all seem pretty worn. The pictures of the home are nice, but may have been taken quite a long time ago. Two of the bedrooms now have what seemed like full beds, not queens, and they had extra twin in each room (this would be fine if we needed the extra beds, but they really just took up space in the smaller bedroom). Some of the chairs had worn holes in the upholstery, and also in an area rug. We didn't use the master bedroom patio because of dirty cushions from bird remains. Overall, we truly enjoyed staying here, and Gina was lovely to work with by email and she recommended several restaurants and such. Even freshening things up a bit with new towels, rugs, etc.. would make a difference. I could see staying here again because it is a great space and location, but I just like to know exactly what we will be getting this time.

What an incredibly relaxing, and fully stocked home!! Greg met us when we arrived, and gave us a tour of the house. They had the house decorated for Christmas, and even had a Christmas tree up for us to enjoy. I did a lot of cooking, and had plenty of kitchen equipment available. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and town. This was the perfect place for our family to meet for Christmas. We would definitely rent again.

The best location to the beach. The best location to everywhere such as airport, shopping, theme parks and major sightseeing spots. The owner just lives next door to support us for everything. Especially, Greg gave us many informations about surfing and local spots. Gina and Greg, thanks for the great experience and memories. We've been traveled many places in the world, but Manhattan Beach is the best place in the whole world.

Both the property and the owners Gina and Greg were a pleasure. The house is a great size to host a large family and guests - it has an open concept which makes it a great place to hang out plus its only a couple of blocks from the beach and a number of great restaurants. Parking for 2 cars w some secret spots for more cars if you have guests. The home is very well equipped w anything you may need to cook a great meal, hang out w plenty of towels. The master bathroom is super nice w a steam shower and jacuzzi tub. Best of all are the views of the ocean Both Gina and Greg were great to work with. Gina communicated very well throughout and was very flexible w some requests we had. Greg introduced himself to my family and made us feel very much at home. We absolutely would rent this property again

This is a beautiful house in a wonderful neighborhood! Only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need on your vacation! Loved it!

We recently gathered in the Los Angeles area for our daughter's graduation from UCLA and wanted a place for extended family to relax, take in the beach and shop throughout the graduation weekend. Gina and Greg's home was perfect for us: a wide-open and ocean-view room upstairs for folks to mix as they take in the view, watch TV, cook, eat a meal, etc. Plenty of bedrooms on the second floor stocked with fluffy towels. Parking for two cars on a quaint neighborhood street just a few blocks up from the beach and quick walk away from the central hub of Manhattan Beach shops, restaurants and the pier. One of our favorite features was the street-side fireplace lounge area just out the front door. We could hear the ocean crashing, take in the beachy feel of the neighborhood enjoy each other's company under the stars. A wonderful stay and I would recommend this to friends and family looking for a large gathering place.

We were there for our sons family USC grad. The location and layout was ideal for the adults and children we had staying at the house. Walking distance to park, beach were so great. The owners, who live next door, were extremely friendly and accommodating. The house was very well equipped to have our dinner party. However... I'm a bit of a 'clean' freak and was dissapointed at the dirty carpets, the holes and worn out chair upholstery and couches. The outside decks, windows and furniture were dirty. For the price I was somewhat dissapointed. This place could be fabulous with just a little TLC

Easy check-in/check-out process and Gina and Greg were extremely nice and helpful. Great house in a perfect location. A quick walk to the beach and a short 7-10 minute walk to nearby restaurants and stores. The house has everything you would need for a great vacation: lots of space, plenty of towels, huge TV and couch, bikes, surfboards, paddleboards, ping pong table, large dining room table, and more! There is also a great outside patio area where you can relax with the ocean in the backdrop. The outdoor area has a cool propane fire pit. Overall, great stay and I highly recommend!

My trip to Manhattan Beach couldn't have gone better. The house is amazing. Plenty of space for people to be social or for you to enjoy some time by yourself. The beach is a short walk away and provides a wide range of activities, many of which the owner of this house will facilitate for you (boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, etc). I can't speak highly enough about the character of the owner. She was exuberant, outgoing, generous, and gracious. I really look forward to staying here again!

We were here for a "friends" reunion over Halloween weekend. There were 7 of us and the house felt spacious. Since the weather was great we ate outside - beautiful area and watched the sunset. The house is within walking distance to great resturants and the beach and was stocked with everything we needed. We will come back.

We stayed at this this amazing beach house four consecutive summers and we are planning to be back again. My wife and our two girls and two boys enjoyed every minute at the house. Gina and her team are so kind and always make us feel like we are home. The location is excellent and the house is so beautiful, well maintained, clean and The view from the living area is breathtaking. Thank you Gina for sharing with us your amazing beach house. We spent a week at the house. Our party consisted of my wife, son, daughter-in-law and three grandkids (ages 8, 6 and 2). The house was perfect for our needs. All of the bedrooms were on the same level and were very spacious. Outstanding balconies provided nice views of the ocean. House was well maintained. The owners lived next door and were very helpful. Manhattan Beach is a great place to use as a base to explore LA area. We took the grandkids to Universal Studios and Legoland. All in all, an outstanding family vacation!

A wonderful weekend to remember!!!!! We were so pleased with this beautiful home we chose for our daughter's graduation weekend. We had family come from St. Louis and Seattle. The location was incredible with a short walk to the beach. The top floor with it's balconies and spacious family room was perfect for our family. Views of gorgeous sunsets, big screen TV and plenty of seating. Great Kitchen window seating with cool breeze and views of the ocean. The weather was perfect and we spent a lot of time on the outside deck during the day and with the fire pit at night. The kitchen was well equipped for family meals and so much fun to cook with everyone sitting at the island window seat. We all got to spend a lot of time together. This home is not only beautiful but the art work and the peaceful and warm atmosphere of the home was so inviting and comfortable. The owners are so nice and helpful!!!!!! Recommendation for Becker's Bakery worked out great for an awesome two tier Graduation cake, rainbow Anniversary cake and Mother's Day cookies!!!! The deli sandwiches were great for the afternoon after the graduation from Becker's too. All ordered in advance worked out great!!! We are so excited to come back again. All the cousins and parents had a fantastic time!!!! Thank you Gina, Greg and Lanie for making our daughter's college graduation weekend such a big success!!!!!
