We enjoyed our week at “This Must be the Place.” The home is centrally located down the road from the ferry and marina area, across from the creek access and a short golf cart ride to the market and BHI club. The home is beautifully designed and decorated and appears newly renovated. The owners have thought of every need with beach chairs, beach towels, a keurig, dog items and bed, condiments and spices and laundry needs. There is a relaxing screened in porch and ample room for a large family. We loved the two 6 person golf carts to ride around the island and get to one of the beach access points. No complaints! Would highly recommend.

We stayed at "This Must Be the Place" on Bald Head Island and had an amazing vacation. The house itself was gorgeous and looked brand new. First Floor master was great and the bunkroom upstairs fit all the kids leaving the other two rooms for our friends and their teenagers. They also provided so many great items that we didnt have to bring - beach chairs, beach wagons, beach toys, hard shell coolers, and even a stand-up paddleboard. Not to mention the kayaks are right across the street with an easy put-in on the river. It came with two 6-passenger golf carts that were not only fast, but had Bluetooth speakers and sturdy seatbelts. This was extremely helpful with two families staying in the house together. We like the quietness of being inner island and it was neat to be on the golf course.
iTrip customer service was impeccable despite us not having any issues. They texted us before, during and after our trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. I love this company and this property - we will definitely be booking again!

If you are heading to Bald Head Island this is the place! The house is beautiful! Newer construction and I have not been to a rental that has been set up this well. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to cook family dinners. Top of the line appliances, pots, pans, plates, glassware even a variety of spices.
Beds were super comfortable and 4 and 1/2 baths is the best when you have a lot of people.
Perfect location on the Island with 6 seater golf carts to get you to both of the country clubs which I highly recommend.
The screened in porch was my personal favorite. It was nice and peaceful in the mornings to enjoy my coffee.
The house was an absolute dream and made our vacation fantastic! Plus we had our dog and he loved the dog house in the staircase! Book it now because this house is so nice if will go fast!

It was a wonderful home and perfect for our family’s annual Mother’s Day beach trip. We were all very impressed by all the detail and thoughtfulness of the home. The location was great as well!

What a beautiful home with so many great amenities! So beautifully decorated and so comfortable!! 6 seater golf carts are top of the line and one had sides that kept us warm when it was cool. Great location on the island. We are already planning our next trip to stay at this gorgeous home! Highly recommend!!

My wife and three kids and our Friends and their kid, had a wonderful time staying here over their spring break. The house was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We explored the island and beaches with the golf carts onsite. Spent time visiting the restaurants and then we enjoyed resting outside on the deck. We were also able to spend an afternoon on the kayaks.
The communication before the trip and during was always friendly and very helpful. I would rent through the team again in the future. Thanks for everything!

This was our 3rd trip to BHI, and this home was perfect for our family of 4, but could have easily accommodated a larger party as well. The kitchen was adequately stocked with all the spices, condiments, utensils, & cookware we needed to cook every meal. Correspondence with the owners was easy & excellent...very responsive! We would definitely stay here again.

We came with a bunch of adult couples to celebrate my Dad’s 70th Birthday. It was such a great time. The house was perfect, and fit us perfectly. Well equipped kitchen. WiFi worked great, porch was fabulous. We will definitely be planning another trip back!

Our family (children and grandchildren) got together to celebrate my husband’s and my 50th anniversary. The house, which was absolutely perfect for us, is beautiful and well equipped.
My grandsons loved the bedroom with the bunk beds. The adults really loved that each of the other three bedrooms had king size beds! That was a real plus!!
There were three bikes, four would have been ideal. There is a place on the island to rent bikes, but due to the cold weather we didn’t bother to rent another bike.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, clean home to rent, I highly recommend this one.

This is the most well equipped and convenient house we’ve rented in our ten plus trips to Bald Head. The house is beautiful, the owners pleasant and easy to work with. Our vacation was everything we hoped it would be—we wanted a house this time that was close to the Inn (where family has a time share). Being within walking distance to Old Baldy and the church was an added bonus, although the new golf carts (provided) made the rest of the island totally accessible.

We have stayed in many homes on Bald Head Island, but this was by far one of our favorites! The home is absolutely beautiful, and we can't thank ITrip enough for how clean and well appointed it was. The beds are so comfortable, and the layout of the home allowed for plenty of privacy for all. We took advantage of both the double kayak and canoe, with access so close to the house perfect. I will say that the double kayak was a bit hard to steer, used by our daughter and son in law who are seasoned kayakers. We brought our 2 dogs along and the home was very pet friendly. Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay!

My family and I stayed at "This Must Be the Place" for four nights and had an incredible time there. The house was immaculate with a wonderful layout, beautiful decor, and everything we needed. It really felt like a “home away from home.” The communication was excellent throughout our stay and it was great to know we could reach out if we had any questions. The living room has a huge tv and a great sound system which was perfect for movie nights. We spent most evenings relaxing on the screened-in porch after a day of exploring. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay (and beautiful counter tops)! The two new golf carts allowed us to easily get around the island and enjoy the local restaurants, stores, and beaches. The beds were super comfortable and everyone felt very well-rested each morning. I highly recommend staying at "This Must Be the Place" if you want to make the most of your experience at Bald Head Island!

We have stayed in bald head a few times- but this house was incredible- everything inside the house was state of the art-
The kitchen is beautiful and contains everything you need!
The bed was so comfortable - the master bath was so large and and just stunning!!
And trust me when I say the best golf carts on the island!💖💖💖
Elisa was able to recommend a great restaurant for lunch-and the food was amazing!!

We just spent a week at " Must be the place" and it really was quite a place. The home is brand new and the perfect layout. There were two families of 4 and another couple staying in the home. The kids really enjoyed the bunk room. The adults appreciated king beds and master bathrooms in each room. The golf carts are also brand new and fast! The home is equipped with all the items you could ever need. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I were able to bring my husband to stay at “This must be the place” for a Fathers Day get away. The house was so clean and welcoming. A simply gorgeous home! The Owners sure thought of everything we would need to make our stay just perfect. We left our pup home but the built in dog house with bed would for sure have made him feel loved. We also loved the luxury golf carts complete with backup camera and Bluetooth so we could listen to music while we cruised the island. Highly recommend you choosing “ This must be the place” for your Bald Head Island stay. We will love to return!

We spent a few days at "This Must be the Place" and it was everything we could've possibly asked for.
The communication was fantastic leading up to our arrival, during our stay, as well as during checkout. The house was well-stocked with everything we could've asked for - considering we had a toddler along with us. There were plentiful kitchen supplies, beach supplies, as well as bedding, and entertainment. The location is great - only minutes from the ferry and restaurants. Down the road, the other way were shops and the beach. Everything we needed was a short trip away on the golf carts.
The house was in immaculate condition and was clean throughout. We're already thinking about our next trip back to the island - and hope to stay at the house again!
