Location was great and there was plenty of room for everyone

Kitchen was not well stocked, especially for a place that sleeps this many people. Cooking would have been difficult, but fortunately we were not planning to make our own meals on this trip.

The site was beautiful. And the Airbnb was nice, great space. The location was easy to find. The layout of the Airbnb was great. And the 1st floor bedroom/bathroom was the best. Privacy, and quite (in this space) were great for relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook, serve, relax and enjoy ourselves. There were plenty of towels, and other household items available for use.

Upon arrival, there was no one there to meet us, there was no walk thru. The stove should be updated, as there was a small vent on the stove, but no exhaust fan to clear the air when using the oven (better ventilation is required). The ceiling fans on the 2nd floor were not operational. They were remote controlled, however, the only working remotes were for the TVs. We killed large cockroaches (inside the Airbnb), stepped over used cigars (on the patio grounds). After two phone calls to the owner, and notification sent to Booking.com (explaining the situation) the owner emailed to explain that the Airbnb was recently serviced by exterminators. I'm of the opinion that a walk thru would have eliminated the frustration of figuring out the ceiling fan issues, and the roaches in the Airbnb. Sometimes a simple explanation is enough to help eliminate potential annoyances.

Great location, well equipped with supplies and kitchen needs, kayaks were a bonus and fun, beautiful outside lighting, nice place.

Electric outlet cover was missing in dining area, lower bathroom is nice but no ventilation.

Just a short drive to the seawall. Very comfortable spot to stay for sure. After a l9ng day at the beach it's a great place to cool off out back and maybe even put a fishing pole or two in the water. If that's not your thing there's two levels to sit out back and enjoy the evening or mornings.

We had a storm blow through and knock the power out the last evening of our stay. Efforts to contact the Evolve contact se he could report the outage were unsuccessful so we ended up packing up and heading home and not staying the last night. It was way too hot to stay somewhere with no power and no ac. We also were not equipped with candles so it was getting dark rapidly. Other than that it's a great place to stay. Next time we head to Galveston I'll be seeking out this house specifically!
