Location was good, walking distance to the beach and many excellent restaurants. When issues were reported to VACASA support and maintenance teams we found all to be responsive and willing to make corrections where possible.

We waited a week or so after our trip ended to submit this review in hopes of some follow up from VACASA support but none has been forthcoming. So to start out the Cleaners had not arrived until after we checked in on Saturday, they spent about an hour tidying up. We were unable to locate a hair dryer or coffee maker as listed for amenities. Sunday we found broken toilet seat, ants in kitchen, broken microwave, one burner on stove not working and reported same to VACASA support. Maintenance team arrived on Monday morning and corrected toilet seat, microwave and stove burner and brought ant traps. Offered exterminator treatment for the ants but we delayed until after our scheduled checkout. Wife had a discussion with Maintenance team member about nasty smell coming from a bedroom air conditioner in room that we occupied and he suggested that we relocate out of that bedroom if possible and we did so we were down to three bedrooms available. On Tuesday the Maintenance team delivered the hair dryer and coffee maker. On Thursday afternoon we discovered Black Mold on the corner wall of the bedroom we had relocated to after the air conditioner smell discovery so now we would be down to two out of four bedrooms being usable but managed Thursday night. Noted that all of the room air conditioners had alerts for filter maintenance required which indicated a lack of attention to general cleanliness. Forwarded pictures of Black Mold problem to VACASA support on Friday morning and we resolved to cut the trip short by a day and vacate the property immediately on Friday. It is our opinion that this property was in no state to be available for rent to us. This is an older structure as depicted in the photos so expectations were not for a modern condo but the state of conditions outlined above should have been corrected long before making the property available for rent.
