Terrific little bungalow. Perfect for a couple’s stay. Clean and up to date. Fairly convenient to downtown, walkable but a little long.

The house was a perfect launch pad for our 2 day trip to Silverwood. It was very tastefully updated, very clean and had everything we needed. Only wish our stay was longer!

This is a fantastic little house which is up to date and clean. Maria and Chris have stocked it with everything you need and more. The kitchen is great and has things a lot of other rentals don't include. They have also added some nice treats. The house has AC which is great as it can be very hot in the summer. The beds are comfy. There is a nice table and chairs in the backyard so you can enjoy the garden. The neighborhood is quiet but close to major roads so it is easy to get around. It is walking distance from the lake front park and beach. There are lots of stores and restaurants close by including Walmart, Target, Safeway. Maria and Chris live close by and are easy to get a hold of and respond quickly to enquiries. Overall it is a fantastic place to stay. We will definitely be back.

A very comfortable, quiet, clean little 2 bedroom bungalow on a nice street close to downtown CDA. All the comforts of home. All rooms are tastefully decorated. Lovely yards.

This was an anniversary trip we gave our son and daughter in law. They said it is a beautiful home and they enjoyed their stay!

Every detail of a visitor's stay was considered by terrific hosts, who took time to personally welcome us and show us the house. We have stayed at about a dozen VRBO rentals and we will definitely be returning here. The layout of the house was great for our family of 4. We could comfortably lounge inside (air conditioning! movie collection! big stocked kitchen!), or relax and run around the nice big yard (front and back!). We could not have been happier with this house.

Walnut Cottage is the most perfect and charming holiday home. It has been lovingly restored by Chris and Maria and it is a credit to them. Everything inside the cottage is top quality and very well maintained. Chris and Maria are the perfect hosts and Maria is a splendid baker!! We all agreed that some day in the future we would love to return and we would definatley make our stay longer

This is a great little place...everything you need for your stay and the owners are extremely nice and welcoming. They even brought over a bowl of fresh apples and blackberries from their yard! Great location to the lake and downtown. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

This is a great vacation rental. The host is very friendly and the house has everything you need. We stayed a few days in Core d'Alene and went to Silverwood. Very enjoyable. I could live in Coeur d'Alene.

Chris and Maria were great hosts, and it was a comfort having them next door. Very hospitable and ready to serve any needs. Bungalow was a perfect retreat at the end of the day. Clean, quiet, and all the essentials of home. Perfect location for all activities and freeway access. We have stayed in Coeur d'Alene about 10 times and always stayed in a hotel. Never again. So peaceful having our own space. Kids loved feeding the chickens & having wifi. Will stay again for sure. Thank you Chris and Maria!

Exceeded my expectations. The photos are exactly what the place the like. It was super clean which meant a lot to us. Near town, quiet, etc. just perfect. Oh, and a nice loaf of apple cake and fresh eggs when we arrived..
