Absolutely enjoyed every day with this house. Spacious enough for the whole family and still have privacy. If i could, i would live in the screened in porch with that view. We have every intention on booking this house again!

It was a wonderful vacation for our family. The house exactly how it was described and more. Owners are very fast to respond any time. Lake was wonderful to watch. All rooms are spacious and we had everything we need. Sunroom was a blast. They left us a bottle of wine, even some treat for our dog. There were plenty of spices, teas we can use if we need.

This is an absolutely beautiful property. Everything in the house feels brand new. The screened in porch is the perfect place to have your morning coffee or to eat dinner and watch the sunset. The bed was super comfy and the house/kitchen was well stocked. Everything was just beautiful! The owners were very easy and friendly to deal with. We wanted a place to slow down and escape the hustle and bustle of life and this was definitely it! There is enough close by that you can do as much or as little as you want. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house in the perfect location! Private, yet easy access to anything you need. Very roomy. Screened in porch was amazing. Everyone loved the comfy beds and all the amenities provided. Owners communicated great and were very responsive throughout the booking process…no need to talk with them during our stay, but have no doubt they would have been equally so then. Already trying to figure a week for our next stay! (We will bring toilet paper though. One-ply just doesn’t do the job!)

The house accommodated the whole family with room to spare and was comfortable for everyone. And we took full advantage of the bikes, kayaks, and fire pit that provided endless entertainment! This was our second visit to Ed and Diane's home and once again we had a great time. The home is absolutely perfect! My husband and son loved the upgraded downstairs especially the projection tv!

I have rented several vacation houses at various locations through VRBO and other organizations. This one was, by far, the best in terms of supplies stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, and then some. Soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, and toilet paper were provided in abundance. There were a number of food items, such as popcorn, coffee, and some seasonings. The owners provided many extras, such as an air hockey table, a small selection of DVDs, 2 kayaks, 2 bicycles, pool toys, and even extra firewood for an outdoor fire pit. Ed and Diane have clearly thought through what renters might need to make their stay more comfortable and enjoyable. They were always available to quickly respond to questions, but not at all intrusive. I would recommend their property to anyone who is looking for a place to rent on Lake Norman.

When you think about NC you think great people and beautiful scenery. This location has all of it wrapped in one.
The owner, Ed, is amazing! Amazing probably isn't good enough, but when you meet the guy you know you're in good hands and you'll be able to relax and enjoy your stay.
The location is perfect. The house has more than enough room, and has everything you need. The yard is big enough for any dog to run around. I wouldn't think twice about booking this place

Me and my family loved this place. We took our boat and enjoyed boating and lounging on the dock. The house was great and had everything that we needed to feel at home. The outside space was perfect for grilling and playing cornhole. Ed was great to work with, we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Ed and Diane for sharing your home!

My family wanted a quiet getaway from work and the craziness of New York City. This was perfect. The cottage was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we needed for the week. We enjoyed days in the lake and evenings on the deck. Ed and Diane were wonderful hosts who checked in to make sure everything was o.k. We look forward to returning.
