The rooms are outdated . The “newly” renovated rooms are not not really considered new with stains on the wall and rug. The staffs are unhelpful especially in the Chalet .

The pool is far. It is located in the other building. Its not convenient if you have a small kid.

You can tell that rooms are old. Reception took a long time to find our reservation despite having all the information.

The location is very accessible and I booked this hotel for the cocoon spa specifically to treat my husband for fathers day for a good massage. The breakfast buffet is awesome and many options to choose from.

The hotel room is very old and not renovated. The smell of the pillows seems like it was kept in the cabinet or storage for a long time. The air conditioner isn't that cool enough as well. The carpet isn't that pleasing anymore and I guess the whole hotel needs a overhaul renovation.

Decent WiFi stability and speed. Buffet breakfast was good, better than most of the competing hotels.

Don't be fooled by the photoshopped photographs. The hotel is absolutely tired and if it were a horse it would be put down yesterday. Some rooms claim to be renovated but don't believe the hype. They've just installed a new TV unit. Everything else is knackered, especially the aircon units. The decor is akin to the Shining. I was half expecting Jack Nicholson to break down my door. There is one lift in the building. The swimming pool is inconveniently a hike away. The prices were extortionate, sometimes even more expensive than the 3 other best hotels in the region. Unjustified. The beds were so uncomfortable, you would just sink right in. Again, showing the age and the overuse. My main gripe was the obvious pest problem. Every room I was moved to had cockroaches and or spiders present. Coming from the west, I'm afraid I'm not used to this. I don't mind see the insects but I don't with to share my bed with them. The final straw was a cockroach the size of a rat scuttling across my bed and behind the headboard. The stuff of nightmares. Had to relocate to another hotel after this. If you're not used to these things and are from the slightly pampered continents, then please do not book here. You will regret it, don't say I didn't warn you!
