Excellent location for DDay beaches etc and only a short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. A short drive to supermarkets. Secure parking. Large, well equipped (on the whole) apartment. Staff friendly (although no English spoken at all). Good bedrooms and bathroom with slippers, robes and lots of toiletries. Good coffee maker and large packet of free coffee, mineral water.

This is an old folks home. Not a problem for us as we were out most of the time, but it is not senior living (like over 50s). It is walking frames and wheelchairs - and the facilities reflect that. Despite saying there was a bar - there isn't, as they do not have a license. There was a just a small area where the old folks played board games and might occasionally get a coffee or tea. English was not spoken at all, and there was little in the way of literature or sign posting to help. If you have no French this might be a challenge. We had specifically chosen this appt for a balcony. Unfortunately this was unusable and in fact had not been cleaned when we arrived. It was absolutely covered in guano and even a dead bird - including all the associated blood etc. I spent my first evening organising to get this cleaned - which was done. However the next day it was again filthy with droppings which I cleaned myself. Unfortunately come the evening the sun was directly on the balcony so we shut the shutters and spent the evening indoors. One tiny 2 seater sofa and one armchair. Only 3 chairs at the tiny table. Only a microwave - might not suit everyone. Only terrestrial TV with only one English channel. No satellite or streaming. Very poor Wifi. If you have no roaming allowance on your phone and cannot pick up the 5G you might struggle.
