Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this house for a 2nd year in a row for our daughter’s wedding. This was NOT a good experience. There were mice running all over the house with droppings everywhere. The day of the wedding we had to run to the store to buy traps. We did not want to call and have exterminators the day of the wedding. Nearly all of the light fixtures were not working. We changed bulbs, but cords were literally cut in half and lights would not work. We had to use our phones at night to move around downstairs. Large carpenter ants were everywhere. You could not sit on the deck without them crawling on you. I did notify the company after the weekend wedding and they sent someone out with sticky traps. Well the mice got caught on the traps and we had to listen and watch them for two days try to escape the traps. Which they did, and began running around the house again. We love the location, the home and outside seating. But this situation made it a pretty uncomfortable trip. We were reimbursed one night for our trouble, which really was not enough. This all needs to be taken care of.
