Our extended family (7 adults and 4 children) wanted to spend time together and we really enjoyed the property. This is a beautiful home with very nice appliances, outdoor grill, large eating and gathering spaces. We enjoyed the lower level game room. The house was large enough for each family to have their own space. We visited Mammoth Cave, Paradise Point, Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese and the Barron River State park. There is a Dollar General nearby but it is very worthwhile to drive to the very friendly Food Lion in Scottsville.

The proper manager was quick to respond, courteous, & friendly. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous. It was very spacious and decorated adorably. The game room was a major crowd pleaser. We spent a lot of time in there (unfortunately it rained the entire time we were there). We all loved the cabin and would consider staying again. The minuses are that it’s not soundproof. You could hear everyone moving around from the bottom floor to the third floor which makes trying to go to sleep a little difficult. Whoever does the cleaning needs to up their game. We had a decided to cook a Saturday family meal. All burners on the stove were dirty, with grease in every burner pan, so I had to clean them, not ideal for a weekend getaway. Most of the utensils were greasy or had small bits food on them. I’m assuming the food was a dishwasher issue, but nonetheless, not good. When we went to load the dishwasher as requested it was full and had to unload before we could load our dishes. My daughter & her husband found hair and fuzz their tub, so they didn’t use it. The rest of the place was pretty clean. We really didn’t have a view of the lake because the trees had grown so much there was only one small area to see the lake. That was a bummer. We were going to go kayaking, but instead of two kayaks there was only one so we didn’t do that either. Seclusion, privacy, peaceful, family time, it was great. We had 6 guys staying in Bowling Green for a disc golf trip. The house was perfect for us. Loved the game room and the hot tub.

The cabin was great for our whole family of 4 families. We all had a comfortable and clean place to sleep. Only downsides was that there wasn’t any room for kids to play in the yard, no direct access to water for fishing and fire pit area wasn’t very disable but again the house was fantastic and we did enjoy the entertainment room in the basement a ton!

The website description is a little off because new owners took over. The hot tub was waiting on a part, so we didn't get to use it and was refunded some money back. The cabin is beautiful with plenty of games and activities to keep you entertained on a rainy day.

We had a great time! This place was huge, clean, and beautiful! We were able to enjoy Mammoth Caves, Bowling Green, and Nashville while staying here.

My friends and I rented out the Cozy Cabin due to its size, location, and amenities. The owners were incredibly thoughtful and thorough with their check-in instructions, amenity descriptions, and suggestions for what to do during our stay. The cabin itself had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The game room gave us plenty to do, and the space as a whole was just perfect for a larger group (we had 8 and everyone had their own bed). I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy feel and a unique space!

This house was perfect for our family getaway. The game room downstairs kept the kids busy, the kitchen was great for preparing meals, and the beds were so comfy. Even though it was cold outside we enjoyed this house, I'm sure it's even more fun in the summer!

This cabin is such a terrific find! Our family takes a trip every New Year to a different location and this one definitely did not disappoint! There were 8 adults in our group and 2 littles under 4 and there was more than enough space for all of us. There are 2 living room spaces, one upstairs and one down on the main level so plently of places for a large group to spread out. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we’ve encountered. There were pots large enough for soups and anything in between, cutting boards, strainers, baking sheets, all the things. They even have a crockpot and a Keurig as well as a traditional coffee maker. As a group that enjoys cooking together on trips this kitchen was wonderful! The scenery of the location was beautiful and it was a perfect middle ground for many attractions so we found something to do almost everyday and for the days we stayed in, the pool table, ping pong, and foosball tables kept us entertained. They even have board games and books for children available to enjoy. Communication with the owners was excellent and prompt as well. The only thing that we would recommend to make this cabin even better, would be direct access to the lake from the property. Overall we loved the week we spent here and look forward to returning hopefully during the summer.

Our immediate family takes a long weekend trip every December to celebrate our mother’s birthday. This place was amazing! The game room was a big hit but would be great if the lower level had a couch to lounge on. The house has an incredible view and open floor plan creating great gathering area for the family to hang out. We played a big game of family bingo which we have never done but will be making a new tradition of. The house was pet friendly so our fur family was able to enjoy the get away as well! I would HIGHLY recommend this cabin.

The property was perfect as always. This was our third year and it never disappoints. Our family recommends it as a 5 star property.

House was perfect for a family get together. We picked it because it was halfway between our families, and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect house or setting.

Stayed with a group of friends to enjoy a birthday, mostly just indoor events, gaming etc. Fantastic deck, the dining area was a great space for board gaming, etc, with a great view. The game room is a nice addition as well

My family traveled over 900 miles from Stuart, Florida for a four night stay at the Cozy Cabin. We are originally from Glasgow, Kentucky, and came back to the area for a family reunion in Gallatin, Tennessee. The location of the cabin in Scottsville was a perfect "in-between" spot, and we could not have found a better place to stay. There are not enough superlatives to describe both the cabin and our experience there, but I will try. Fabulous, spacious, relaxing, well-equipped, beautifully maintained, attention to detail...all of these perfectly describe the Cozy Cabin. From the thick, fluffy bath towels and an endless supply of hot water with plenty of water pressure, to the comfortable beds and linens, it felt like an upscale hotel, but without the confines of a hotel. And the kitchen! O.M.G. I am a baker, and I appreciate a well-appointed kitchen. We hosted a Sunday brunch on the last day of our stay and the kitchen gathering area at the bar was perfect! A six-burner gas oven, complete with a separate warmer drawer made entertaining a large group a breeze. Entertainment? The downstairs garage area has been converted into a play area for all ages with ping pong, pool, and foosball. The hot tub on an outside deck was clean and set up ready-to-go from the moment we arrived. And get this: there is even a full bedroom and en suite bathroom down there. Finally, of course, there's the views of the lake from just about every room. This was our best vacation EVER!

Great location, beautiful setting. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Need to add stairs down to the fire pit. It was tricky getting down to that level.

We had a great time at the Cozy Cabin for our family trip. The house was spacious and large enough for our whole group of 7 adults and 2 kids (the many bathrooms was appreciated), and the game room in the basement was definitely utilized. It does take a bit of a drive to get to many of the nearby attractions (20-40 min) and we found quite a few things were closed during the week, but since our main goal was family time at the house, we didn’t have an issue with it. There were a few things that could use a bit of a deeper clean and they may want to have the cleaning crew check under beds and couches, but there was nothing egregious. There are also some things that are well worn, but it is evident that the owners are doing updates/upgrades to things, so I imagine this will only improve with time. There is plenty of furniture (inside and outside) and things to do, and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, so it makes for a great gathering spot. Overall, we had a very positive experience and we would recommend this location and consider it again if traveling to this area in the future!

This is a very nice place to stay with a gorgeous view of the lake. Wish we would’ve had more time to stay there and enjoy the amenities that the property had to offer.

The house was perfect for our family.

Had a good experience overall. Host was very attentive to a couple hiccups we had during our stay, which was a big help. Place has plenty of areas for kids and parents to have their own space when needed, and large group areas for everyone to be together. Kids loved the game room area, while parents enjoyed the open living room/kitchen areas. We were able to have 6 kids eating at the island at the same time while the 6 adults had room to spare at the dining table. We had 3 familys of 4 and the house accommodated our needs perfectly. Plenty of outdoor type activities all within 10-15 minute drive.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Cozy Cabin. The cabin is extremely nice on the inside and outside. The views are wonderful. You can tell the owners truly care about the comfort and happiness of their guests!
