Great place to stay in Bangor!

The room was a little small for our family of three. The breakfast was ok but I did not see many gluten free options. I did not ask for them either but normally there are signs saying to as for gluten free. I also was not impressed with the $75 fee added for our pet which was non refundable. I do not mind extra fees but I like to know in advance. We booked our stay through hotels.com which we use often for business and did not see a disclosure.

My a/c was set on 55 degrees when we entered the room at 6 pm. Wouldn’t adjust so we turned it off. Tried to sleep but controls wouldn’t work call desk and no answer at 1am for 30 mins thought we’d fix it in the am and finished terrible night of sleep. Front desk wouldn’t change our room and said they fixed it still no control of temp. Asked for room to be cleaned and they said at 4 pm that they were still cleaning. I used the word sh”. . To describe my sercive and the manager threw us out in the beginning of a seven night reservation and wouldn’t give a refund and threatened to call the police. I have never been so insulted or received such horrible treatment. The manager was horrible and I can’t imagine being treated this way for stating the obvious: waiting to fight for my refun thru my credit card over $1300:

This is my go-to hotel when coming to Bangor. This time the hotel was full and it was so nice and quiet. The room was comfortable, the breakfast in the morning was more than satisfying and the fitness center was great. The only thing is parking is scattered around the building and one night, I almost could not find a place to park!!

Well thought out room space. Not everyone goes to sleep at the same time.

My daughter and I stayed here for just one night after a concert at a local venue. Most everything was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The property was well maintained. We got a good night's sleep on the comfy bed. And it was pretty quiet. The breakfast was fairly decent with a lot of options. The only thing that made us a little uncomfortable was a gentleman who walked into the lobby while we were having breakfast. I don't know if he was a guest but he parked his truck in the parking lot, came straight in grabbed a cup of coffee, verbally accosted a family and used the F-word a few times and then just walked out and drove away. I don't know if he works there or was staying there but my 10-year-old and I were made to feel very uncomfortable while we were having our breakfast because of that situation. Other than that, we had a decent stay. Thank you.

Great place to stay.

This is my "go-to" hotel when coming to Bangor. The location is quiet yet convenient to every where that I need to go. The staff is super friendly and the amenities are great - especially the breakfast. My only complaints would be that the fitness center is always too hot because it is connected to the area where the washing machines and dryers are and there is no way to adjust the thermostat.

Unfortunately they did not have hot water during our stay. Room was clean and had all the amenities I expect from this hotel. Unfortunately the breakfast was not as I had experienced in other Home2 suites.

This hotel has never let me down. It is very clean and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. There is a nice selection for breakfast and the fitness center has just enough equipment and it all works. My only issue this time was that I tried to print something in the "business center" and was unable to and there was no one at the desk to help us.

Wasn’t thrilled with set up of room compared to other Home 2 Suites. Like the standard open concept room, this had separate room you entered through to bedroom area. Layout was not ideal for our family of 5. We pick Home 2 Suites for layout that works for our family, this room was not great for us.

I cant say enough about how much I like this hotel. The staff is super friendly; the fitness center is great - just enough equipment; the complimentary breakfast is more than satisfying and the rooms are spacious and clean.

This has become my "go to" hotel when traveling to Bangor. Don't let the fact that it is designed to be an extended stay hotel deter you. The rooms are spacious and I love having the mini-kitchen even for a short stay. The amenities such as the gym and pool and even the laundry are great and everything is clean and in working condition - even the TV's on treadmills work!!! The complimentary breakfast is more than satisfying and with your own personal kitchenette in the room, you can take something back and save it for when you get hungry later on in the day. I highly recommend this hotel and feel it is one of the best in the Hilton chain.

When we got there the clerk was sitting down and didn't stand to greet us or welcome at all, she said what's your name and that's all she said till she gave us the keys and said pools closes at. The Hotel was very nice we liked the room set up we will be going back

The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was ok but offered nothing to those who are lactose intolerant. The person on duty actually made me something after i brought this problem with her. Excellent services

I chose this place because multiple reviews said it would be quiet. This is mostly true: aside from the distant sound of the planes taking off, there's not much street noise. However, my last 24h here sucked. Here's what happened: - They booked a group of folks next to me in 201. I guess they allowed a group of underage kids to check in and throw a loud party with music and alcohol. Also, the minimum age to checkin is 21. I didn't get much sleep and had to go over and ask them to turn down the music. - My Expedia reservation clearly said checkout was at 11pm: I had a screenshot and showed it to the concierge. It turns out they made a typo and checkout is 11am. I was still forced to leave around 11am, many hours before my flight. - Room service walked into my room <1 second after knocking: I was still in bed and without clothes on. Not interested in coming back.

Customer service was having trouble with the computer systems when i walked in to check in but it was rebooted and i was checked in in minutes! Great job and very friendly staff.

Water is to soft

We are thrilled that there is a Home2 in Bangor Maine now!! We absolutely love the suites and have stayed in the South Portland ME Home2 several times. Every amenity you could possibly ask for is provided, cleanliness is over the top, and staff are friendly, genuine and extremely accommodating. 100% positive experience every time. Can’t recommend highly enough!! ❤️
