Art was so helpful and welcoming to us. The house was lovely, clean and well appointed. It was especially nice because they had a crib, stroller and baby chair for the kitchen table. Totally recommend staying here, loved it. Thanks!

The downstairs accommodation for outside and poolside living is excellent, with great equipment, plenty of seating and lounging options, games etc. Bathroom is a good size and well appointed. Bedrooms are small and storage minimal for adult groups. But adequate. Art looked after us very well. The village is beautiful with 3 good restaurants, bakery etc. Views are stunning.

Magnifique maison ! La vue est impressionnante, le terrain est superbe : très belle piscine , cuisine extérieure très agréable et très bien équipée, terrain de pétanque, badminton, trampoline, balançoire, ...un vrai coin de paradis, hyper calme...mais proche de tous les commerces et restaurants de Bar sur Loup ( à pieds) L'intérieur de la maison est sobre , très propre et très bien équipé. La climatisation est un vrai plus dans cette region. L'accueil est chaleureux, la présence est tres discrète mais disponible si nécessaire...rien à redire. Toute la famille a adoré...on y serait resté plus longtemps avec plaisir !

Beautiful place. Slightly remote but that is also an upside. All in all exceeded our expectations which were already high. We would definitely go back.

The house and location more than met our expectations, walking distance from the lovely village but still private and secluded. The best private pool setup we've had on a holiday (we've tried a few over the years!), large warm and clean. I recommend a trip over towards Monaco and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. Boulangerie Dutto was our bakery of choice. We were a family of four, 2 large kids, could probably do with another sofa for more "big people" sitting inside, but really it's all about the outside spaces where there are multiple options for large groups. Don't forget your insect repellant. Thanks to Art and Molly for a great holiday given the awkward Covid situation we find ourselves in.

Das schöne Ferienhaus La Fenice ist wunderbar gelegen, ca. 45 min mit dem Auto von der Küste entfernt. Das Haus ist neu, die Fotos entsprechen den Angaben. Es gibt drei Schlafzimmer, das größere mit Doppelbett, die beiden kleineren jeweils mit einem Bett. Zusätzlich sind in den kleinen Schlafzimmern jeweils eine zweite Matratze bzw. Ausziehbett, insgesamt 6 sehr gute große Betten. Das Badezimmer ist mit Dusche und Wanne ausgestattet. Ein zweites WC befindet sich im EG im Hauswirtschaftsraum. Dort befinden sich auch Waschmaschine und Trockner sowie sehr viele Spielsachen für Kinder für den Pool oder Garten. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr gemütlich und die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Das Ferienhaus ist durch den Poolbereich vom Haus des Vermieters getrennt und alles ist von einem gepflegten Garten umgeben, die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig. Wir haben den tollen Garten, zum Federballspiel und Tischtennis zwischen den Olivenbäumen, jeden Tag genutzt. Der großartige Pool wird unvergessen bleiben! Dieser tolle Blick über die Berge! Der Salzwasserpool ist beheizt und lädt noch im Oktober zum Schwimmen ein. Nach den langen Touren nach Cannes, Antibes, Nizza und Monaco war das ein abendlicher Genuss! Herzlichen Dank an die Vermieter Milly und Art, dass sie dieses Paradis mit uns teilen!

Rarement vu une maison aussi bien équipée et entretenue. Tout est fait pour que l’on se sente très vite très à l’aise. Superbe piscine, cuisine d’été très pratique, belle vue, repos garanti.

Just finished a brilliant stay. To be honest the pictures didn’t do the property justice, it was even better. We were superbly looked after by Art from start to finish, and got some great ideas on the local area which were brilliant. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, and already looking at the diary! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Nos enfants et nous memes avons beaucoup apprecié la maison, jolie et fonctionnelle, une piscine tres agreable et un tres bon accueil.

We chose this property as it had a large outdoor area and many activities including a heated pool to utilise while staying with children. Also another consideration was that the quality of the furnishings, linen ect was to our standards. I am happy to say that La Fenice lived up to our expectations . The property comfortable slept four adults and two small children although be aware that the bedrooms other than the master are on the smaller size and so are the beds. Our sleeping arrangements were governed by having to put the one couple with the taller guy in the master suite. The home is beautifully presented and a joy to stay in. If you were to strike cooler weather the living area is a bit of a squeeze for six of an evening. Outdoors however is where the property comes into its own. Set on a hillside in a lovely village with easy access from the coast. The grounds are beautiful and a pleasure to spend time in. We had the property to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool after two previous properties where the pools were too cold to swim in, in early September. You couldn't ask for a more well thought out approach to providing amenities. There are pool toys galore, games, swings, outdoor activities, cooler bags and chilly pads, spare toiletries and numerous pantry items to list just a few. We really appreciate this thoughtfulness as often when you arrive at a property from overseas there is not even salt and pepper. The outdoor furniture including numerous eating types, places and umbrellas etc made our stay so comfortable and easy. The village itself has everything you could want and with Pre du Lac just down the road you couldn't ask for more. We dined at Le ecole des filles and Le Donjon which were by far two of the best nights out in a month in Europe, Dealing with Milly and Art was truely a pleasure, they made the whole process a breeze and were lovely to talk to. When Art asked us what we had enjoyed the most about the area in our week at La Fenice we honestly had to say the property itself. A true holiday destination of its own.

Wir - eine fünfköpfige Familie - haben uns die zwei Wochen über, die wir dort verbracht haben, sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist recht neu und ganz toll ausgestattet, in der Küche hat es an nichts gefehlt, es gab neben der Kaffeemaschine für Filterkaffee auch eine kleine Nespresso-Maschine, es waren genug Handtücher da, sogar Badetücher, zahlreiche Sonnenschirme und Liegen, Loungemöbel am Pool, Wasserspielsachen für die Kleine etc. Außerdem verfügt das Haus über eine Alarmanlage und einen kleinen Safe. Anzumerken ist höchstens, dass das Haus für 6 Erwachsene von den Schlafräumen her zu klein ist, für eine Familie mit 2 Erwachsenen und 4 kleineren Kindern ginge es wohl schon. Ideal ist eine Besetzung mit 4 , max. 5 Personen - so wie uns. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön auch an Art, der uns bestens betreut hat.

Super welcome from Art and Milly. Superb accommodation. Spotlessly clean, looked as if everything was freshly painted and new. Completely private and quiet. Delightful area. Family staying = parents plus 18 and 16 year old children, joined for last few days by other two children 23 and 21 years. 6 of us fitted in easily. Recommended without reservation by all the family. Would go back again - perfect for a quiet get away holiday and quality family time.

My family spent 6 wonderful nights in Le Bar-Sur-Loup in mid-April. We were 2 adults and 2 children (ages 8 and 13), and my in-laws stayed with us for a few nights as well. The house comfortably held all 6 of us. Not knowing what to expect from the weather, we requested to heat the pool ahead of our visit, and we were able to take full advantage during our stay. The house has everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen, bathrooms, living space were all well set-up with appliances, and supplies, and there was no shortage of activities available for our two daughters (pool, trampoline, ping pong, petanque, toys, cards, etc.). Milly and Art were great and always available to answer our questions about the house or things to do in the local area. Le Bar-Sur-Loup is a nice little village, that is perfectly located in the middle of nowhere, while still being close to all of the well-known points of interest in the region. It can seem a bit sleepy (in mid-April, at least), but it has at least three extremely good restaurants that almost seem out of place in such a small village. It offers easy access to great hiking trails and spectacular views of the sea. The house was absolutely perfect for our family, and it was hard to leave, but we hope to come back again soon.

Commençons par la bastide: toute neuve, d'une propreté impeccable, confortable, pratique avec vaisselle en quantité appréciable (si vous invitez des amis) appareils électroménagers complets et produits de beauté à disposition... Il ne manque rien!!! La piscine est un bijou. C'est une piscine vraiment chauffée (entre 28° et 30°). Nous avons passé 15 jours à la Fenice et nous nous sommes baignés le matin très tôt, le soir très tard. Pour moi qui suis très frileuse, j'ai pu profité de cette grande piscine sans me poser de questions. Il y a des jeux gonflables pour les enfants et des matelas flottants pour les adultes. La Fenice est idéalement située pour visiter la Côte d'Azur (Cagnes, Cannes, Monaco, Grasse, Nice, Italie...) et proche de toutes les commodités (restaurant L'Ecole des filles, pizzeria...) Nous avons passé de belles vacances loin du bruit comme dans un petit cocon. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Art (le responsable de la maison) qui en cas de besoin est toujours intervenu rapidement avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Vous pouvez louer cette maison les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçus. Ce fut une belle expérience!!!

Villa, location, pool, outdoor kitchen, etc. As well, the property managers Milly and Art were overly accommodating and helpful. They directed us to the best restaurants, bakeries, wine stores, cycling routes and attractions. If you're a cyclist, this villa is like a ski in/ski out ski chalet. We cycled incredible routes from our door every day. I highly recommend this property.
