Did not like the old fashioned bathroom. Of course it is a historic structure.

The Hotel Paisano was a real treat for our family. The room was tremendous and the overall vibe was wonderful. The shops in the lobby were great. The hotel staff was very helpful and the feel of the hotel was nostalgic but also with the times. We plan to return for sure.

Beautiful Hotel the food was amazing afterwards we sat outside in the patio area and enjoyed the view and had a couple of drinks and made new friends while sitting outside.

Really friendly folks and nice time walking around Marfa. Good food close by, too. Hotel has a lovely, tiled lobby and nice front garden area.

Everything was great. We loved it.

Nice place

Beautiful, historic hotel with a very professional staff. They are in the process of adding an elevator to improve the property. Regardless, this is the loveliest hotel in Marfa. The courtyard with fountain is gorgeous. They had live music my last night there. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay that I will never forget. I especially loved the pictures of Elizabeth Taylor & Rock Hudson on the walls. I would happily stay here again.

Disappointed! Just passing through the area and the ONLY reason we booked this hotel was because of the highly advertised on-property restaurant and relaxing courtyard listed on the website. Checked in only to find out the restaurant and courtyard were closed for a private event. Limited dining options in the area. Staff was not much help. It could have been mentioned somewhere during booking. Found pizza at another hotel restaurant down the street where we should have booked. The private event had a live band and was loud. Very large crowd for a small hotel, the crowd spilled into the lobby which made it hard to enjoy any of the amenities. Room had a musty odor that would not go away. A/C didn’t work well. No operable elevator. Historic hotel. Room was OK. Sound traveled too well between rooms and down the hall. If you book it, don’t expect any of the on property amenities to be available even when advertised.

Great historic hotel. Lots of charm

This historic hotel is a gem. The lobby and common areas are lovely. The rooms are small as you would expect but showing some wear that could easily be addressed. The elevator was broken and it was necessary to ask for help with luggage - not offered automatically.

Liked the history of the hotel. Check-in clerk was friendly and helpful. Restaurant hostess, wait staff and bartender were all friendly and attentive. Food was very good.

Classic historic property. Gorgeous Trost design!

This is a beautiful 1920 hotel but in desperate need of refreshing. The elevator didn’t work which was difficult for many elderly guests. There was no bellman. The rooms were tired the receptionist were not very helpful. The restaurant under staffed and food was barely ok. So sad to let such a lovely charming hotel become so run down.i would stay at the St George next time. Not as charming but much more updated clean and guest friendly.

Beautiful hotel with unique architecture and a historic past. Staying there is an adventure I cherish. If you want a modern, sterile business class hotel, you may not like the Paisano or Marfa. If you stay, catch the light viewing outside of town, walk to Marfa Burritto for breakfast or shop in the nice stores downsrairs.

History

The hotel is a nice and very historic place. It's a little inconvenient not having an elevator and no breakfast opportunity. I general the hotel is overprized!

Not a good experience… as Seniors … elevator was broke… put on 2nd floor.. no help with bag . Gentleman that checked us in offered … however watch as we entered with bags… We realized we could not carry our bag(large bag for road trip) upstairs. We left a day early expressed not happy returning keys …. Oh well!!!

Beautiful old hotel with great character. No elevator, however, although they appear to plan to install one. Would definitely stay again.

The front desk staff members were very welcoming and helpful.

Awesome historical hotel

We had high expectations and they exceeded them. If you love old period hotels maintained at a very high level, you’ll love the Paisano!

A big beautiful hotel built in the old style. It is a living museum staffed by a very helpful staff.
