We had a lot of issues at check in (no keys, instructions, etc.) and while the office was closed, the security and maintenance persons were very nice and did their best to help us out.

We did not get much in terms of instructions and when we arrived we could not find the office, called the number in our confirmation email 2X, then we called Vacasa who gave us the front desk # we called 3X getting reaching vmail at every extension, then called Vacasa again who gave us the number to get ahold of the property manager and security guard (very nice). It ended up that nothing was left for us, no keys or information, so security had to let us in the room. Initially, he opened the wrong place with someone there, weird, then the correct place. Then we were told we were not able to leave our room or needed to find a way to keep it unlocked as they could not get us a key until morning. I told him this is unacceptable, so more calls were made and we were able to get a maintenance person (again nice) to make a key ~1.5 hours after we arrived so we could go get something to eat. The place was "OK", has good potential, but smelled like a pot dispensary throughout the hallway and the place we were renting…we had to open windows and turn on fans for a couple hours to air it out. The shower/tub drain was very slow to drain (took an hour) and I had to fix toilet as it would not shut off. Place appeared clean, but based on the experience, the shower, the hanging blanket on window, and more, it felt messy and chaotic. We never did get rental instructions/agreement.
