Stayed here on a girls trip. The house is absolutely gorgeous, conveniently located, and so comfortable. Could easily walk to so many places, including the Silos. We loved our stay!

Had Mother/Daughter trip with my girls! This home is absolutely stunning. So comfortable, yet elegant. All the details were thought of. Lots of supplies and, literally, about a block away from the Silos, which was our primary location to visit. Congratulations on a great job with this home! Would definitely return to Magnolia Oasis if in Waco. Thank you for a great girls' trip with my babies.

We loved staying at Magnolia Oasis, and it certainly lives up to its name. The house is very comfortable and is fully stocked with everything you need to feel at home. Steps from Magnolia, and a few minutes from Baylor, it is well located. High quality beds, towels, kitchen items. etc. Two bedrooms have sinks in the room - this helps if you have a crowd of people waiting to shower. Really lovely backyard and gathering spaces. Well done!

Every detail was carefully thought out. The beds are extremely comfortable, the decor flows and it’s fun to find pennies hiding around the rooms. Close to everything Waco has to offer. Check in and out was extremely easy. Would highly recommend the Urban Penny if you are making a trip to Waco.

Where should I begin to give this place a 5-star review? I would say, from the moment we stepped in to the house, we were greeted with beautiful fragrance, music, and a cooled home as we arrived from a 100 degree outdoor weather. Oh, and a bottle wine to relax! This is a well-loved house, Lisa and David are amazing hosts. We were there only for 2 nights (too short), and we would discover many personal touches through this beautiful home. Decor - my family is so spoiled. As a big fan of home remodeling shows, we were amazed that we get to live in a truly designer home. The name “urban penny” truly lives up to its name. We would go through the house almost like playing “where is Waldo” as we stumble across hidden pennies through the house. This is so fun. Cleanliness - this is top quality. All the corners of the house is touched upon. The beddings were clean. Bathrooms were spotless! Amenity - plenty of comfortable towels in the bathroom, bedding were super plush and comfy. There is even eye masks in the master bathroom to put on while you take a warm bath in the beautiful tub. It was like spa living! The kitchen is well-stocked with all the gadgets and beautiful utensils. There is plenty of detergents/soap and the laundry room is well-stocked with products as well. While staying at this place you truly felt “the love” of the host. Thank you do much David and Lisa.

What a great way to begin college tour season, Baylor & the Urban Penny. This house was lovely for our family of 6. The location was perfect and every detail was so well thought out. Can’t wait to come back to Waco and visit again.

We are six lifelong friends who take “getaway” trips at least once per year and we loved the Urban Penny! Best features were location (Silos), decor, and enough beds and bathrooms (3) for six women. The porch and backyard seating area were perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. So many special touches throughout the house. Great place to stay in downtown Waco!

This property is so perfect. Had everything we needed and more. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels and very clean. Decor is outstanding. Best house we have stayed in from VRBO and we've stayed in a lot throughout Texas. Parked our car and walked to everything. So many places to eat close by and fun things to do. Had a set up to make s'mores out back in the fire pit. We couldn't have been happier.

This is such a wonderful property! Pictures exactly as imagined, one of the most important details when I stay is comfortable beds and furniture. Details of this property are most immaculate and is a very close to all.
