This really is a gem in all ways. The heritage farm house is fully renovated and modern. The spacious two bedroom apartment was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked for continental breakfast. Cutlery and cooking pots/utensils and appliances and sets of dishes were provided. Set amongst cornfields the ambiance feels quiet, secluded, and private. Only 16 minutes scenic drive away is Port Perry with excellent dining and shopping options. Antiquity Rose is a perfect retreat from which to explore several towns in the Kawartha Lakes and Scugog region. Karen and Mark were wonderful; hostess and host. The unique and very private antique shop was a treat to explore.
