Charleston Creekside Inn is NOT an Inn or a "Boutique Hotel" as described on the website. It is an older, independent, motel which offers rooms facing the Highway, not the creek. The rooms are bare bones, but clean, and the staff friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for no frills economy, this is the place.

All rooms facing a waterfront view that was quite peaceful and beautiful. Comfortably away from downtown Charleston, but close enough to get their quickly for activities.

Moldy grout in the shower. Staining around the toilet. One of the beds wasn't changed clean when the last people left. I know this because when I laid down there was a horrible smell of cheap perfume on the pillow and sheets when I looked under the pillow there was a piece of weave.... The "maid" is allowed to work in a moomoo like granny where's at home. The plugs in my room by the bed didn't work right. The fridge wasn't able to get cold either. Front desk people aren't very friendly either. Bottom line not worth the money.

We stayed for 3 nights and our overall stay was good. The staff at the front desk were excellent, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was okay too. We had some issues with the room key cards; sometimes had to try a few times to open the door. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. We were satisfied with our time there.

We stayed overnight as a family, arriving late at night and leaving early the next morning. We were not qualified to rate it because of our short stay, but we were satisfied.

We loved the outside area. It's beautiful there. We took an Uber to downtown & to and from our cruise. It's close to downtown but not too close. Very friendly staff. We appreciate them letting us keep our car there while on our cruise. If we come back to the area we'll definitely stay again!

Room very clean. No carpet or box springs and mattress, pillows and bedding passed my slightly neurotic test for signs of bugs.
The property is beautiful and although it was closed by the time we checked in, the pool looked clean.
Breakfast could use some re-vamping. We got there early ... it of eggs, bread for toast, etc. I did have a waffle which i enjoyed. They eventually brought out more eggs with sausage in it, definitely powdered, kind of grainy ...
Overall a decent place to stay.

Took a shower and walked around barefoot and my feet got dirty from the floor. Some of the updates are un-done and unprofessional. Breakfast ran out of eggs, meat and waffles. Waited over 10 minutes and the food still wasnt done.

We found staying at Creekside was A convenient place for us to be able to visit Charleston and also some of the islands for a wedding that we were going to. Even though it is by the highway it was peaceful and you could Enjoy the pool and dock where we saw some really cool creatures.!

The room was perfect. Bed was super comfortable and cozy. The view was just stunning out of the window of the corner room. We enjoyed looking out on the marsh and watching the sunset. The pool looked inviting and clean. There's an adorable dock to fish from out in the marsh. The security deposit was extremely reasonable. The shower was as hot as you'd like! Breakfast was a bit disappointing, but that's my only complaint. I'll still come back and just eat breakfast out on the town.

Stayed for 3 nights. Beds are comfortable. Pool is clean. Loved the dock. Caught fish and blue crabs.
Staff was friendly and front desk person is knowledgeable about the area. She told us about good seafood restaurants in the area.
Love that it was pet friendly, as we had our dog. Note: There is an extra fee due when you get there.

Eupi, Elsa and Jenna are amazing. They make sure you are happy. Property is clean, no bugs, new clean rooms and bathrooms. Can’t beat it.

The property is actually on a creek and really lovely. You can sit on a patio right by the creek. The rooms were clean but no dressers so you have to "live out of the suitcase". There was a lot of variety of breakfast items to choose from but the dining room is quite small, moving around the area dodging other guests to prepare a dish. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

The room was good, clean! And the front desk gal got us to check in early which was great! The breakfast on the other hand was very disappointing! Coffee super strong, no plain half and half and the eggs and sausage were so salty they were inedible! The fresh fruit was apples that were mealy…old!

We had an excellent stay here. Very clean room. Fully remodeled in 2024. Clean pool and great dock for fishing. Large grass area for my dog to walk and do some business. Can’t wait to return.

Check in process was quick and simple staff was friendly. Room was very spacious and clean. The property was kept very clean. Great seating areas outside to enjoy the Creekview. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in that area.

This is an older hotel that they have done some cosmetic improvements on. It was OK for one night.

Needs allot of love. The bathroom was dirty behind the toilet and this is a huge problem. Breakfast was the worst anywhere I've been. And the lobby AC didnt work as we sat there sweating durring thenso called breakfast. The grounds are nice, but the motel is in desperate neednof upkeep. Good for quick 1 night stay only, but look elsfor a good breakfast.
