Spent four wonderful days here. Beautiful and comfortable home in a great location close to the many attractions on the Kenai Peninsula. Girdwood has several very good restaurants, a serviceable market and fun brewery all close by. Stephanie was very easy to work with. Highly recommend this place

We arrived in Girdwood after a LONG flight from MS at approximately 9pm. First thing we noticed is how unkept the property looked with tall grass and weeds everywhere. We did not have any children with us, but if we had, we would have forbid them to swing on the swing set due to the overpowering grass and weeds. The eves of the house were in desparate need of painting and the back deck has rotting boards. The pic nic table is completely an eye sore which is also non usable and needs to be removed off the property for safety reasons and better looks. When we realized our security code did not work, we wanted to cancel and just leave. We were tired and the last thing we wanted was not to be able to get in after pre-paying for everything in full prior to our arrival. One of the joining friends checked the back porch door and found it open. I screamed with joy because I had just spent almost an hour trying to call VRBO for help, but only got LOUD music and automated false help. Never talked to anyone. Making our way into the house, we all felt a sense of relief. Then, we spotted a lady dragging our garbage can up to the main road. I spoke with her and told her our situation and she said she would contact the owner ASAP. Very soon, I got a phone call from the owner who was as upset about the situation as we were, She was most concerned and explained an unfortunate situation which happened prior to our arrival. We received a new code and key. The house was most accomo and clean.

Just what we needed. Excellent large kitchen, dining are and family living room. Then only inconvenience is that the bathrooms are in the bedrooms with no common bathroom for guests to use. Otherwise, it was excellent!

This property was great! There were 3 of us staying (myself and my 2 brothers). The property was perfectly sized for the 3 of us. The neighborhood was in the perfect location for our stay - close to Alyeska Resort and other excursions we were taking part in. The host was quick to responding to any questions we had and very kind & accommodating! It was a great experience for us!

Very nice. Decorated to draw you in and a great place to stay. Beds are comfy and clise enough to the things you need. But far enough away from the city
