Such a cute little place to spend the weekend! Looking right at the water is amazing and beautiful! Only thing I would say is to let people know when you send the info for the place that the place doesn’t have the numbers to the address on the house😊 other then that everything was great

Had a lake view

My teen daughters and I spent two nights at this cabin and had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. And the owner was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We explored the town and enjoyed ourselves tremendously.

My husband, our 15 year old grandson and myself had a great time. The owners were very helpful. They provided us with check in details days in advance and answered all our questions. Great access to the lake as well as to local businesses. The place was cute and very clean. We will definitely be back again.

The property was exactly what the pictures showed very petite, quaint, cute, and just enough for us two Although I have arachnophobia, I had a hard time entering and exiting, especially at night. The doorway and windows are covered with spiders. that was my biggest problem with the property maybe use some home defense bug spray idk but I only gave four stars for cleanliness because the property was clean, but the fridge had lots of leftovers from the previous tenant left inside and no one was sent to retrieve it even as though I mentioned to the owners immediately after entering the property and putting away my things and the washcloths needs to be cleaned with a stronger detergent to cut the oils and residue because after one use, there’s a mildew smell but overall, for the most part, we enjoyed the house and the area And we’ll go back someday!

We had a beautiful weekend enjoying the beach cottage. Everything was exactly as described and the hosts were very attentive and quick to respond. We had a great time and hope to be back to the area soon.

My friend and I booked our stay as a getaway from kids. We were hoping for time on the beach enjoying the sunshine, it was cool and rainy but it didn’t damper our stay. We still enjoyed the quiet time and found ourselves watching movies without interruptions 😂. The home was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for the weekend. The hosts sent several messages before our stay and were quick to answer questions. We will definitely stay here again and hope for better weather.

Went to Houghton lake for a 2 night stay . Nice well kept cottage and friendly host . Will definitely look at this place first if we return to Houghton lake

My husband and I spent my 60th birthday here. It was perfect! The cottage is exactly as described and pictured. The owners were very quick to respond with any questions we had. It was a very comfortable place to stay and enjoy the beautiful Houghton Lake. We rented a pontoon boat for a day and had an absolute blast! We will definitely be coming back!

I stayed for the month March. It was a fanatic stay. The cabin had everything you need and the bed was so comfortable. I would defiantly stay again!

Small but cute

We had some troubles getting up here cus we were about a 3 hour drive, the owners were very kind and understanding, even going as far to say we could stay an extra day for free because our water pump broke on the car and we couldn't get it apart! We ended up getting it figured out and leaving when we were supposed too, but the whole stay was very nice, cold but nice! I would suggest bringing some extra blankets and thick Hoodies if you come in the winter months! With it being so close to the water it gets FREEZING!! But they provide space heaters in every room and one main heating unit in the dining room/ kitchen area! All in all 10/10! Me and my husband will definitely be coming back! (After we get a new car 😅)

We needed a quiet getaway just the 2 of us. Celebrating our upcoming 29th anniversary. THIS WAS IT!!! Clean, comfy, smelled so good, stocked with what we needed, nice bottle of wine left for us! It was a spectacular weekend away & we will for sure be renting from Ken & Angelina again! GREAT GREAT Communication too! Thank you both for such a great experience!

The property was exactly as listed. It was absolutely spotless. The bed was comfy and it was well equipped. Had a nice bottle of wine and some mints waiting for us when we got there. Had a small mishap with the heat but the owner was on it and had a handyman over to get it fixed ASAP. Also was able to provide some other heat sources while we waited. Communication was excellent. It was overall a great experience

This is the perfect little property for two people to enjoy the Houghton Lake area and be close to the water. The cottage is extremely clean and supplied with all of the necessities. The host had great communication with us and we had no issues.

The place had everything we needed! It was quaint and cozy and was right by the water. It only took about 20 minutes to drive up to Houghton Lake State Park. Tons of nearby shops and stores. Perfect place to come back to and unwind after a day in the sun. The hosts were super communicative and kind! Will definitely be back!
