There is no lock in the room. I suggest that each room has locks for added security.

It is conveniently situated for Hebden Bridge and was in a quiet area.

I was informed upon arrival that I have to remove my shoes in the house or wear forensic shoe covers. This was not mentioned in the description nor any of the communications. The description did mention a shared kitchen but it was made clear that the kitchen, in fact the whole lower floor of the house was not for guests. The owner offered to make me a cup of tea twice and offered to provide a basic breakfast but she gave me no tour of the rest of the house and the doors downstairs were closed the entire time I was there. There was clutter on the upstairs landing which was a clear fire hazard and in the wardrobe in the room. The room was cold when I arrived and I had to ask for it to be put ion in the evening. There was a single loo roll in the bathroom and so I had to go downstairs and knock on the living room door to ask for another. I didn't sleep much because of the owner's snoring in the adjacent room. My room had no lock on it which also added to the discomfort. I woke up to a cold room as the heating had been switched off overnight. I left the place as early as I could.

Joanna was very friendly and welcoming. It was pouring with rain when I arrived and she helped to cope with all my wet things. She also offered me a cup of tea. She explained about breakfast and was happy for me to have it even though I had not ordered it in advance. I had a very comfortable double bed in a warm room with a lovely view. It was in a very beautiful location anyway. It was also quiet and there was good transport to Manchester or Todmodern.

Exceptional host so kind and friendly the house is beautiful and has everything in it that you need, you can bring your own food and make it in the kitchen, go out for food or order it in

Great welcome. Lovely host. Good very clean facilities. Didn't have breakfast but wished we had. A previous note in the visitors book says best breakfast in Todmorden! Next time....
