The property was fantastic and had everything that we needed to make wonderful memories. The owner was easy to talk with. The pool was amazing and very close to beach access.

The house was perfect! Pool was great for our boys, my parents enjoyed themselves thoroughly. My mom is the cook and she fell in love with the kitchen. I enjoyed book reading, lounging while boys played in pools and time spent chatting on the screened in back porch. We ate every dinner as a family on the porch and it was perfect!

Excellent location in a quiet area of the island. Easy to get to, nice yard with pool. Back deck super to sit and talk and enjoy each other as well as the surroundings. The beach an easy one block walk, stores nearby. Rooms clean and attractive, main living area and kitchen very conducive to interaction and enjoyment. We will stay there again in the future.

Our family has never visited Edisto Island before this trip and it was just wonderful! The island isn’t over developed and the beach was not crowded. The house is a short walk to the beach and is very private, with forestry and a large yard to separate you from the neighbors. The home was very clean and nicely decorated. We cooked quite a bit and had everything we needed! There were tvs in every room, which worked out perfectly to keep all the family happy on our rainy day. The outdoor patio was very spacious and nice to enjoy a meal outdoors without worrying about the insects. My kids just loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the fire pit at night while star gazing. It truly was a nice relaxing stay and next time we are back in Edisto Beach we will book here again! The owner was very kind and attentive to any questions, concerns or requests that I had. This house is nice, new, clean, well appointed and comfortable. The owner was exceptionally responsive and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again. The pool was our favorite part!

Loved the house location and the pool. I think because of change of owners the pool area and landscape has been neglected but I am sure that will be taking care of with new owners. Now the owner now was very concerned about any issues we had and responded promptly to our needs. We would love to stay at this house again next year.

This is our fifth time staying in Seabatical. It provided top-notch accommodations for our family of 7 (4 adults and three children). It is a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. The pool provides for additional fun when the kids grow tired of the beach. The open spaces, screen porch and under house space provided place for the little ones to play and spread out. I would highly recommend Seabatical for a great family beach stay!

Beautiful property with 4 bedrooms 3 full baths plus an extra shower which was perfect for our large family. Only issue we had was the pool not being cleaned upon arrival as expected but someone was sent out a few days later. Also had an issue with the air conditioner freezing up but they sent someone right away to fix it. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful home in a great location and pretty much as advertised. The one caveat is that there are very few amenities - this is typical for Edisto, I've learned. This means no linens (as clearly explained in the listing) but also no toilet paper, dish towels, paper towels, hand soap, propane for the grill, etc. etc. etc. That aside, the house is beautiful and as advertised. AMAZING location. BEAUTIFUL pool. Great open concept kitchen/living room for hanging out. Picturesque screened porch with a large couch and large table for family meals. I'd definitely stay here again, but this time, I'll come prepared with a carload of house-staples.

My family & I enjoyed our stay. The beach access was extremely close (walkable & there was ample parking at the access). We wish we could have used the pool immediately upon checking in.

Great house. 1MBR the others are BR with 2 hall baths. Very pretty home and very clean. The porch is a great space. Quiet street with easy beach access. Definately recommend this home.

This Edisto Beach home is immaculate and was perfect for our family fall break trip. It is beautifully decorated inside and out. The pool is nice and just the right size for family fun. The back porch is so nice! Loved watching the deer meander through the neighborhood.

We were very pleased with our stay, loved the screen porch with all the seating. Also nice to end a long day at the beach with a refreshing dip in the pool. The only thing I would mention, I'm short (5") and needed a stool to get onto master bed. Very comfortable but very high. (Might need that stool in the kitchen too.)

The house and pool were divine. Helped us have a great vacation. One of the best I have had in many years. I greatly appreciate all the cleanliness and thought that was put into this home and sharing with others.

This house was perfect for our stay. 7 adults and plenty of room. The pool was perfect and only a short walk to the beach. We will def be staying here again next year.

We enjoyed staying here. The house is clean and comfortable. The front porch lights still don’t work, as noted in a previous review, so bring a flashlight! For those wishing to rent the linens, Edisto Essentials charged me $200 for 4 bedsheet sets and 8 sets of towels.

Overall this property is great and I would rent this house again. The linens are not $125. I stopped after $90 something in sheets for four beds. I brought my own towels and blankets. I was not sure if the beds had covers. I know they weren't provided with sheets. Just causes for a lot of packing and pricing isn't correct with the company that provides these items. When I arrived to the property one toilet would not work and I was not informed of this before I arrived. None of the front porch lights would work which makes it hard to use the front steps in the dark.

Everything went very smoothly. Enjoyed the home and layout. Pool was very nice! I would definitely rent again!

Usually, the pictures listed make properties seem nicer than they are, but this was not the case with Seabatical. This house was beautiful and so clean! The host was very accommodating with my date change request and extremely responsive. I wish it would have been warm enough to utilize the pool, but that just means we will have to return next year!

We really enjoyed the island during the month of September. Historically, we prefer the smaller islands: no fast food, Walmart, etc. We had the beach to ourselves. The house was well-appointed in several areas. Plenty of bedrooms, seating, appliances. Please pay attention to the fact that there is a limit to what is provided. If you forget your sheets, I’m not sure where you would be able to purchase anyin a pinch. We thought we were well-prepared with sheets and paper products, but we missed the note about ice. We also would recommend that you bring a scrubber for the cookware. As we traveled with our autistic daughter, we couldn’t eat inside a restaurant, we simply ordered take out or cooked. We should have brought more supplies for cleaning the cookware. Easy fix, Food Lion is minutes away. We have been happily renting through VRBO since it was first introduced in the 90’s. After staying in many rentals, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat. The property is continually being upgraded and improved. The outdoor spaces are private and comfortable. I would recommend this home for families with younger children. As we were three adults using three bedrooms ( one of us has to sleep close to our daughter in case she gets up in the night) we were arm wrestling over the better mattress in the master. A few of the mattresses were built for the kids. We had a few sore mornings. Kudos to the owner for allowing us to push our rental back a year or so. Covid didn’t make it easy to travel from Michigan with a child who cannot wear a mask. We were determined to get there. We never discerned how to turn on the front porch lights, despite the fact that we mastered the other switches. Packing up the car in the early morning was precarious, as it was quite dark. The beach access areas are the best we have ever seen. Seemingly, in between every 3-4 houses. They are well-marked. We frequented BA #32 as we loved to scour the beach for shells. Thanks again for the use of your rental. Your family pictures are beautiful. The vibe in the home was one that we greatly appreciated for a restful few days. Perfect location, perfect island.

Awesome house for two families that stayed here. It is very close to the beach. You could probably walk there in 5 minutes or less. The house was very nice and the pool was great for some small children (3 under 3yrs) we had. Very close to restaurants and shops.
