Excellent location, from the balcony we saw the see. Wonderful beach. The individual and common rooms are designed withe the good taste and in beautiful style. The host is very friendly and helps with important information and contacts.

We liked everything

Very nice little hotel to stay in Progreso, one street behind the main malecon and beach. Clean and comfortable.

Giancarlo is an exceptional host. He is very welcoming and available to share information and/or conversation as you wish. Our private room with bath (with hot water) was simple but clean, spacious, and comfortable with a bed and a couch. Our room had plenty of natural light and a well-functioning air conditioner. The shared kitchen was a great amenity that saved us money on food. There is a well-stocked Oxxo across the street and a Starbucks. I usually prefer local coffee shops but the Starbucks was much better than the other two coffee places I tried on the malecón. Plus, the Starbucks is located in an interesting architectural space on the ground floor of the museum across the street. Itzel is in a great location just a short block from the nicest end of the malecón!

Can't think of anything we didn't like about Itze Hostel. :)

La ubicación del hostel es muy buena. estás en frente del Museo del Meteorito y del Malecón, el oxxo a pasos del hotel así como los cafés y restaurantes del malecón. La decoración de la habitación bonita. En sí, creo que el concepto que están tratando de aterrizar, es genial. Es como una mezcla de hippie happy chick playero. Gian Carlo, que fue quien nos recibió, muy amable y atento para explicarnos los espacios comunes y reglas de la casa. Se cuenta con una cocina muy bien equipada para que puedas hacer tus desayunos-cenas. El refri bien organizado para que puedas guardar los alimentos que compres. El wifi funcionando bien en todo momento. Con gusto regresaríamos en futuras ocasiones.

Tal vez si la habitación tuviera televisión.
