Beautiful, serene, clean and comfortable retreat, with excellent staff.

AMAZING!!!!!!we love this place. It’s so relaxing and yet u leave feeling like a new you. We stayed in the bridal suite and it was above our expectations. The bath tub was the best part. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, smelled clean and crisp. Check was fast and easy!!!check out was simple. Food is great.we ate and drank at the restaurant. And when you’re done you can walk back to your cabin. Overall we highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful property they have created at the Tahquitz Pines Retreat. The grounds and landscaping were absolutely beautiful (we visited in the fall). The staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean. It wasn't super luxurious, but it was a good value.

Beautiful scenery

The property is located in a beautiful are 5 min from town. Our main complaint is that the cabins have paper thin walls and you can hear everything going on next door. Our neighbors decided to have a party or something and we could hear kids running around and yelling both outside and inside until about 2am and we could not sleep. I called and texted the hotel (including the after hours line) but no one ever responded. I get that this is not the hotels fault but there should be someone that could go over and ask people to not have a party at 1am.

The accommodation itself wasn’t bad. Since we arrived late for check-in, the accommodation manager allowed us to check in via phone, and we were assigned Room 29. We had booked a 3-bedroom unit, but when we arrived around 9 p.m., the room we were given was a studio with only one double bed. The accommodation manager was unresponsive, but there was an emergency contact number posted at the office. When we called, we were told there were no 3-bedroom units available, and they offered two 2-bedroom units instead. We agreed, but when we tried the provided password, the door wouldn’t open. We had to wait outside in the cold with young children for 30 minutes. The next day, when we went to the office to check out, the staff didn’t even offer an apology. Instead, they asked, “So, do you want a refund?” in a dismissive tone, which was very disappointing. For the record, we neither requested nor received a refund.

The room floors were not even. There was a large slope to the room. The grounds were very pretty. But the restaurant had a 2 hour wait and was fairly small.

Picked this location for my GF Bday and we definitely enjoyed the room, besides the crying baby next door haha, but over all a Great Location just 4min from the downtown shops and restaurants 🙂
