Walk to the beach free parking swimming pool

Vickie was wonderful with communications and the place was not only as described but even a better value. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, and even sunblock. The little things matter! The place was super clean and a one minute walk to a gorgeous safe beach. Will be glad to stay here again if the opportunity comes my way!

Really clean and comfortable. The cooking area was very small however although all the appliances were brand new. There was no room for using the kettle and air fryer. Great pool, also really clean, only a few steps from the apartment. Beach chairs and towels were also provided. Would definitely stay again. Lovely apartment

Cutest property ever! Loved that it was small and quiet. The room was upstairs with large windows all around! It did not have an ocean view but was a very quick walk to the beach. I will definitely stay again and would highly recommend! The pool deck definitely needs work but the pool itself was clean and refreshing!

The perfect place for a solo weekend! The property is older and could use a little TLC, but the rooms were impeccably clean and spacious. I could hear my neighbors, but they were young and having a good time. Overall it was a mix of families, couples. The bikes and chairs are an added bonus and really made the beach time easy! I needed assistance with the bike locks and I got a text back quickly.

Cute place great for couples and families, the rooms has everything you might need, clean, the pool is perfect, bike not in the best shape but they work for a little ride, the best thing about this place is that you can walk 2 min and you will be at the beach amazing We spent 4 nights we were able to use the towel that they provided and use the laundry room to wash them when needed they provided beach chairs and umbrella which was amazing

Everything was so beautiful and amazing.

Stayed for 3 days/2 nights and loved it! The room had an air fryer, keurig, and mini fridge which were very convenient. The pool was clean and nice to relax in. The beach was only a two minute walk and the complementary beach chairs were perfect!! We faced a slight complication but the property manager was very kind and helped us immediately.

Great location!

Waves on Desoto is a quaint smaller property with a nice pool and an easy walk to the beach. The property has 10 accommodations which are well appointed with many amenities, including beach towels & chairs. The beds are very comfortable! Located in a quiet neighborhood with a less busy beach but a very nice walk or quick bike ride into the main Hollywood Beach business area with bars, restaurants, busy beaches and a beautiful boardwalk. Waves property manager, Vickie, was super helpful and accommodated our many special requests. The cleaning crew were also excellent! The location was perfect! Very close to the airport, close to the beach and our new favourite restaurant, Tiki Tiki, which is only a 5 minute walk from Waves. My only recommendation is a little work on the pool deck area, could use some levelling off and some fresh paint. The bikes available to use for free could use new chains and maybe someone could add air to the tires once and a while. Otherwise amazing, we’ll be back again!

Loved that they had bikes you could borrow (no charge!) To ride down to Hollywood Beach and the boardwalk. The also provided beach chairs, towels for the beach and a pool on site. Definitely recommend this as a great location and place to stay in Hollywood.

Quiet neighborhood, half a block to the beach. Coffee machine, small fridge and microwave a plus. Communication with property manager is easy as well as the check-in. However, the room itself needed to be renovated. Peeling paint and a small bathroom were the downside.

Great place to stay. Just feet from the beach, quiet street. No complaints and great communication. Pool was quiet and enjoyable. 10 minutes to FLL airport.

Well this place is very close to the beach but it really needs some updating.. you’ll see things broken from the second you walk in the property.. it’s been neglected for a long time. I’ll let you judge from the pictures.. Check in process was a joke.. was supposed to receive an email with room code but only after I email the property manager and paid the cleaning fee was I sent the room code, which by the way didn’t work on our 3 rd day there.. lucky the cleaning person was there and after about 15 minutes was able to reprogram the lock. The walls really are paper thin..you could hear complete conversations from the room next door.. don’t expect to get a good nights sleep if you have people in the room next to you that stay up late. Trash was overflowing from the trash containers at the entrance from the day we checked in and was still overflowing on the day we left.. this was even after I sent a picture to the property manager and was told it would be cleaned up..this was especially annoying since you had to empty your own trash. No place to put it. WiFi and TV we’re also horrible.. got the cirvke of doom while watching Tv and the wifi for our phone would only work if we went outside our room.. go figure… Can’t plug the coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator in at the same time.. only 2 at a time. I’m not one that usually writes reviews but don’t want people to have high expectations of the property from looking at the pictures online.

This place wasn’t great to be honest! Very shabby & not the cleanest. Outside area was rough & very tired looking. Guests the first two night we stayed were very noisy, in the pool at 2am larking around. Beach on doorstep was great & lovely walk to Hollywood boardwalk.

The room was very clean and everything we needed. Extremely comfortable. We did have some issues with the Wi-Fi having to reconnect several times. Loved that it was only a few buildings away from the beach.

The property manager was very attentive and professional. It was a pleasure staying there and we will definitely stay again and recommend our family and friends! We felt secure and safe!

Amazing distance from the beach, has a pool, bikes, felt safe, had a microwave and fridge, but the only downside was the acoustics… you can hear everyone else’s conversations and ummm… actions as they take place in the rooms beside and above you. If you are not going to be in the room very often, great place to stay and go to the beach with the towels and chairs they leave you. If you’re going to be a homebody or stuck inside due to weather, anyone else there will know what you’re doing and when. Had to use green noise to fall asleep and drown out the noises of other rooms. But then again, it was one of the cheaper beach front options around.

It was a small intimate apartment. Very clean. Only 10 apartments. Other guests friendly. Nice place to relax and get away 2 minute walk to the beach. Mot crowded. I was like having a private beach.

The place we rented was like a little apartment, has a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, kitchen sink, dishes, chairs and umbrella for the beach, street parking, easy walk to the beach. Just perfect!

I had the worst experience at this place. The manager Vicky didn’t communicate well at all. I was not able to stay here because she failed to email me information on how to check in. I was in the middle of nowhere and it scared me to death. She never answered my calls. Expedia called her as well as my friend no answer with instructions. I think it was a fraudulent place. Do not book here! You will be very disappointed. I had to get on a flight and come home because the other hotels were booked and my nerves were so bad it just ruined everything for me. I only needed the room for one night stay because I just returned from a cruise… it was the low of my vacation. It’s a scam!

This place is an absolute gem! Steps away from the beach and a walk/bike path that takes you to the Hollywood Boardwalk. The place comes with beach chairs and umbrellas, beach towels, and bikes that guests can use free of charge. The nearby beaches are quiet as is the neighborhood Vicky, the property manager, was extremely responsive and facilitated an early check-in and late check-out. Truly can't recommend this place enough!

Vicki was excellent with communication. There was a tiny mishap but it was quickly resolved. I overall enjoyed my short stay. I would recommend

The location is really great❣️ Other people staying there were great & helpful. We walked and biked the area wjile there. Dania is a beautiful beach. Daytime or night time❣️ More garbage cans in the rooms qould be nice.

Loved the heated pool! And the beach was 300 ft away, the beach chairs that were provided came in handy! Used and enjoyed the bikes that were available!

Vickie is such an amazing host! Great communication and the check in process was so easy and smooth! Great location as well with a 2 min walk to the beach! We will be back soon!
