This is one of those interesting and one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The food by far is the best Egyptian food I’ve had yet. The hospitality is second to none. It was great getting to know the host and chatting with other guests. Close enough to all the sites but just far enough away you feel like you’re getting an authentic Egyptian experience. They helped arrange a couple of tours for me and made sure I got a good price.

One of the best hostels I have ever tried. The staff was very nice and co-operative. They were so generous with the food,snacks and pretty much the whole service. They gave us a free ride from and back to the train station. The camp vibe is great and the decorations are amazing. Overall it was and exceptional experience

What can I say? My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Everything else was perfect. Omar and his crew are some of the most kind-hearted, helpful and hospitable people that you will ever find in Egypt. Other than the rooms being very cosy and comfortable, spacious, spotless showers and bathrooms, high-speed wifi, comfortable common areas and everything you would want from a hostel, this campsite-hostel hybrid offers a unique Bob Marley theme. The delicious traditional Egyptian breakfasts will leave you full until the evening. To top it all off, Omar and his crew regularly invited us at no additional cost to barbeque meat dinners. Overall, I can say with 100% certainty that from A-Z, this place was perfect and whenever I'm in Luxor it is the only place where I'll be staying at.

The staff here are fantastic, far and away the most friendly people I've met running a hostel or hotel. They are fantastic and nothing was too much trouble! The food was also incredible! Probably the best I've had in 3 months in Egypt!

The location is a little far from the majority of Luxor (around a 45 min walk to the Nile). It was cold when we stayed and they didn't have enough extra blankets for everyone and the heater in the room didn't work. That said that won't be an issue for 95% of the year in Egypt so don't be put off!

I love Egypt! I have been here many times, leading a tour and staying in 4-5 star facilities. This time I am traveling alone and I wanted to experience the much more authentic Egypt. I am so glad I chose Peace Garden Hostel! I came here from Spain, and brought a Spanish virus with me. I have been sick since I arrived. I could not have been better cared for. They have fed me, fetched me medicine, entertained me and made me part of the family. The rooms are well done and clean. The bathrooms work. The food is good. The ambience is fantastic. I am sitting in the garden writing this, surrounded by green plants and Bob Marley memorabilia. Someone just brought me tea and there is more if I want it. This morning I had fresh ripe strawberries that are from a local field.

The one thing most travelers may complain about is the location. Peace Garden is not right in the middle of Luxor. It is not next to the Luxor attractions on the West Bank. But it isn’t far, and they are willing to drive me to where I want to go. It is about 5 km to Luxor Temple. The road outside leads directly to the Temple. Taxis are available, as well as guides. The trade off is that it is also much quieter (or as quiet as Egypt gets) than the closer in resorts.

I had a very beautiful stay at the Peace Garden. Very clean. It is a new place. The garden is very relaxing. The breakfast is amazing. The people do their best to make you happy. They helped us a lot with scheduling tours. Highly recommend!

Peace Garden is a lovely relaxing place to stay with a beautiful atmosphere! Welcoming hospitality and treated with kindness! One of the cleanest places I have stayed! A must stay when I am back!
