Beautiful location. amazing view with lovely peaceful surrounding filled with Birdsong. the room was just perfect, very private and the perfect setting to just chill for a few days. staff were very friendly and attentive when I spoke to them.

The location was so lovely with beautiful grounds. The room with a balcony was private and lovely. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Since there is no restaurant the picnic basket for dinner was a wonderful idea and beautifully delivered. We liked having the small kitchenette. We enjoyed using the canoe.

We forgot to ask for recommendations for Sunday night dinner and very little was open.

Serenity is the main asset at this lovely Inn. As absolutely stunning the grounds are and as wonderful the people are working here, the “Zen” vibe this place radiates is paramount.

It is remote, but that adds to the Charm of this stunningly beautiful place

The location is absolutely gorgeous.

This place is just incredible! Staff was extremely helpful during the entire time and the service provided was top notch. The room was spacious and clean. The view to the Douro river was amazing. Breakfast was superb! Delicious and with a lot of options. The facilities were super nice including an indoor pool and an outside pool with incredible views!

This is nothing related to the quality of the hotel. Just keep in mind the hotel is a bit far from the quintas and main restaurants (in Peso de Regua and Lamegos). Driving back at night is not so pleasant as the roads are narrow and with a lot of curves.

Absolutely beautiful B&B. Super helpful staff. We were totally wow'ed with the location on the river, the facilities and we even got an upgrade, which was phenomenal! Wish we could have stayed longer than two nights and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended

Food selection could have been a little better. The picnic baskets are a nice idea but quite limited, if you have food intolerances. Although the location is great for natural beauty, limited restaurant options in the area.

Our stay was wonderful, the property is magnificent and the staff were excellent. We enjoyed the facilities on offer and the river walk along the nearby cobbled road.

My only gripe is that the swimming pool and plunge pools are not heated, so in early September I found them too cold for me to enjoy. I know others would have a different view, but I prefer warmer water.
