The pictures of the listing adequately represented the home. It’s super cute and you can tell a lot of work has been poured in to the property. Cons: odd smell - like moth balls and cigarette; washing machine had musty smell; downstairs king shower drain slow to drain; pool dirty (pool people came for biweekly clean and did not vacuum or skim the pool at all); did not read the photo details in the listing and did not realize detached apartment only had an outdoor shower. Pros: great layout for multiple families to each have our own space; kids loved their own bunk room; beautiful updates and decor; location was so close to the beach and restaurants but definitely in the older part of town; we enjoyed having a private pool (this is a must for us!!); the ring game is a nice touch on the patio; and communication with the owners was very much appreciated. Overall, this was a great house for our large multi-family group.

My group loved this house!! Top to bottom 1st class accommodations. I had 5 couples a for business fishing/beach trip and everyone was blown away by this property. We will definitely rebook this home very soon!!

We had such a great time while at the house, upon arrival the grass had just been cut so there was a layer of grass on top of the pool which we started cleaning out ourselves but property Mgr did send someone to finish the cleaning. Very modern design with large spacious floor plan.. Bedrooms did offer an upstairs and downstairs master which was even more of a plus with the pool house as well having a dedicated restroom.. Very limited cupboard space but a full fridge in the kitchen as well as in the pool house helped with cold food storage space. Abandoned home next door is kind of an eyesore and a little scary but located very close to beach access and close to downtown Port Aransas. Did kill a few spiders in the downstairs area so might want to increase frequency with exterminating. “Pet Friendly”in home description was misleading, we have 5 small dogs and sadly were only allowed to bring 3 of the 5 so had to spend additional $$ to kennel.. A lot of rules with the property but to be understood with such a beautiful home.. All in all really enjoyed the stay and loved the design of the home..!

It’s a beautiful home and the location is nice! The house had everything we needed! The only issue was the day we were checking out, AC repairmen came at 8:30 in the morning. I’d we had been expecting them, it would’ve been fine. We weren’t notified prior to their arrival, however

This was an amazing house , very clean and well kept. You can tell the owners take pride in their property . The covered area under the deck made it nice when trying to retreat from the sun. Overall great house and would rent it again.

The Third Sandbar was the perfect place for our family reunion. The large, well appointed and beautifully decorated home is set in the heart of Port Aransas. There was more than enough room in the living room, kitchen and dining room for our large extended family. We loved the coffee bar set all by itself to make it easy for everyone to grab a cup in the morning. The beautiful pool and fenced back yard became the gathering place for the family. Our eldest members grabbed the casita / guest house for themselves so they could excuse themselves and head out to their oasis after a busy day at the beach leaving the younger folks to carry on in the main house. The location was amazing. In our rented golf carts we were only a few short blocks away from the beach, from the grocery store, and from many shops and restaurants. We could anywhere in less than 5 minutes and I would not trade that for anything. The staff were very attentive and responded to our texts and emails within minutes. The family left with many amazing memories…all created thanks to the Third Sandbar house, it’s terrific layout and it’s amazing location. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. The yard is secure for pets. The house is well appointed with furniture, kitchenware, etc. The location is convenient to the beach, jetty/pier, and town. The owner's communication was clear and quick. We would stay here again if we came back to Port A

Had a great stay even after the fact that we had no gas for 2 days due to the outage. We managed and had a great time

We enjoyed our beach time with family in this spacious house. We had our four children there with grandchildren so we used all the rooms. The guest house was an added bonus as some stayed there. We enjoyed the pool and close proximity to the beach. The management was very prompt is meeting any needs we had. The workers that came to the house to check on the pool were very helpful and friendly. I wish we could afford this place in the summer but we had some warm days that were wonderful and the pool that can be heated was a treat. The house is fairly new, well built and the downstairs had No Mold! That is something we had to deal with in other rentals. The kitchen was super well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. ( I only missed my salad spinner) I hope we can come back there in the future. Thank you to the owners and management!!

We had an amazing stay at Third Sandbar! The house was gorgeous and perfect for those of us staying for the week. We were all able to just relax and enjoy each other’s company. We hope to stay again in the future.

Property was very nice. Open floor plan large living area, table seating for 12, large kitchen. Very comfortable feeling. Nice pool and outdoor area. We enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was amazing! The house is clean and exactly as pictured! Huge pool, but no shade. The water was really warm the first evening, but it did cool off by the next morning. It was fine, we learned just to get our swimming in before it got too hot. The kids didn’t care though! They swam all day long! The kids loved the bunk room, especially the surprise little nook/under stair room! The beds are super comfortable and we loved that there are two primary king rooms with en-suite baths. The little casita/pool house is great and a mini version of the main house. Location is perfect; you’re right around the corner from the beach entrance as well as the pizza place and several shops. Plenty of parking room. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely recommend this property!!

First time our whole family was able to get together and stay for more than just a wedding or funeral and this place was perfect. 16bof us and extended family found the accommodations perfect.

The people at Sway were great to work with. One simple phone call was all it took to have the pool heated. That's important to us northerners. The house was clean and very modern with plenty of room for 14.

This was a great property for our spring break trip. Our family of 6 had plenty of room. Great location!

We had an amazing time during our stay. The heated pool was perfect, even with the chilly weather. Absolutely loved the pool house and the layout of the house. Perfect accommodations for our needs. The beds were very comfortable and the house was spacious. The house was also very clean and well stocked. We all want to make it a yearly stay. Looking forward to it again. The only thing that could've made it better was the rental coming with a golf cart.
