Biggest gripe is the 10$ parking fee- really? Maybe in busy season but in shoulder season- come on

Beautiful new facility, quiet, comfortable and clean rooms. Nice that there is a bar in the lobby for an evening cocktail. Having to pay for parking brought it down a star in my rating.

Clean, comfort, and service was beyond what I was expecting. The two rooms were roomy enough for 3 adults and 5 kids. Pool luckily wore them out. Breakfast worked well. Overall, based on costs, I would rate as easily above average.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was wonderful. Was very surprised by a $10 parking fee. We booked a king bed but were told that only queens were available when we checked in.

We very much enjoyed our two night stay. The West Elm designed rooms and public spaces are stunning!
It is nice to have spaces to enjoy outside of the room, ie the large patio with fireplaces, etc.
The breakfast was a little above average and appreciated.
The only disappointment is the reduced cleaning schedule.
As an aside, I take exception to the Marriott pet policy. (One of the most expensive in my experience) Charging extra for my dog ok, but then additional cleaning fees? One or the other please.

Very spacious room. Nice decor, clean and new. However I would think about staying here again. Bathroom had an army of ants in the bathroom they were very small. Like personally did not go into the pool and hot tub but the entire family came back from burning eyes due to the amount of chlorine In the pool. You also have to pay for parking. Which the area we are in seems a far fetch.

I would travel to Sandpoint just to stay at this hotel. It was unbeleivable in every way!!!

Stayed here with my 4 kids under the age of 16 and they loved it. Easy to get to Silverwood and room was great for 5 of us.
Breakfast options were great and tasty.
Only issue is hot tub had too much chlorine as it burned the kids eyes sitting in it.

Beautiful place but the breakfast buffet ran out of items 10 minutes after putting them out and I’ve had much better. But the room was one of the most beautiful I’ve stayed in. Really comfy bed and pillows. Nice view of the woods behind the hotel.

Spacious rooms and extremely clean washrooms. Very friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast menu was very good. They have indoor pool and hot tub and water quality was very good. Kids friendly place

I liked how the property was Modern and updated. We talked to at least one person from every department, everyone was helpful, polite, and caring.

This is an amazing hotel! We spent the day at Silverwood and, rather than drive 3-4 hours to get back home, we opted to head to Sandpoint and stay here. The property is beautiful m: brand new, luxurious furnishings, brand new everything…it was tremendous! My kids were blown away by the hotel (“is this a rich people place?!”) and our whole family very much enjoyed our stay and all the amenities.
Like everyone else notes, it’s disappointing to have to pay a $10 parking fee, but I didn’t lose any sleep over it. That was the only “con” on an incredibly long list of “pros.” We will absolutely be staying here again!

The Hotel is new, Staff is awesome. Not being informed about the parking fee to park in the hotel parking lot is outrageous and frustrating.. It’s a cash free hotel so fee is charged to your credit card which is crazy.. For traveller’s from outside the US you now have a foreign exchange fee plus a credit card fee on top of the $10 us parking fee. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel. Next time I will stay at the Best Western a block away..

Amazing hotel!!! Clean, comfortable, great location. Beautifully decorated! Great patio out the back with propane fire pits which was a surprise and nice to hang out at in the evening. Staff was so friendly! Breakfast was better than most hotels too!
The ONLY negative was they charge you $10 USD nightly for parking 😒. That is really unnecessary. Roll it into your room rate or don't charge it.
Would highly recommend but be prepared for the parking fee.

The property was good for the price. The only problem I had was with bathroom it wasn’t cleaned on arrival, I went to the front desk she got a cleaner up to the room and it still wasn’t very clean. They needed serious help with cleaning. To me it wasn’t Marriott standard.

Perfect for a family of four including 2 young children. We were able to pull out the trundle/sofa bed to make two separate sleeping areas for both kids. Walk-in closet for lots of storage. Excellent buffet breakfast and beautiful outdoor seating area!

Amazing hotel. We loved the back patio with views of the mountains. The rooms were clean and seemed brand new. Everyone on the staff from the front desk to the breakfast crew to the cleaning staff were remarkably friendly. Thank you! (One quibble: it was odd to pay $10 for parking in a town in the middle of nowhere with tons of empty spaces. A parking fee makes sense in a city, but in rural Idaho it struck us as unnecessary and a cost that should be factored into the room rate considering there are limited ways for guests to get to Ponderay without a car).

The hotel is brand new and well done. The property is clean and well maintained. The housekeeping policy is slightly odd as for a Monday-Thursday stay the beds were not made at any point. Towels were added on the Wednesday.
The housekeeping staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was closed the first three days but opened on the last day. The breakfast buffet was three stars as it’s very limited in selection.
I was aware of the $10/day for parking but did seem a little much for a mostly empty lot. If the concern is random people parking that’s an easy fix by displaying a parking permit.
Overall, I would stay here again. The rooms are nice and the location is convenient.

Room was great. I was disappointed that the pool wasn’t open. My biggest issue is the $10/day parking charge. The hotel is nowhere near an area where parking is an issue. I can’t imagine anyone parking there unless they’re a guest.

Really lovely new place with big rooms and modern touches. Great breakfast. Only thing we did love was the window curtains could be thicker to block out light better. Otherwise really great!

This property is very clean and nice condition. I was surprised there is a $10 dollar charge for parking in their lot and find that unacceptable. At checkout I asked for a receipt and was told since it was booked through a third party (Expedia) it would need to come from them. I have never heard this before and Expedia did not send me a receipt.

We had an amazing stay. The hotel was comfortable and gorgeous. It is brand new, super clean, and beautifully appointed. The deck off the back of the hotel that guests can use for breakfast or happy hour is stunning. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
