I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel. It’s clearly just been renovated and is in excellent condition. Whilst in the centre the walk from the hotel to the main centre ( 10 minutes ) is through an ‘interesting’ area , not unsafe but definitely didn’t feel comfortable. The room I had was a duplex which I wasn’t aware of when I booked with the toilet downstairs which was strange as was in the hotel basement . There was an emergency exit door which is fine but they should state clearly it’s a one way door . I also felt the cheap wall hair dryer was very dated and not functional for a 5 star hotel . And thanks for being Pet friendly and not chargi by extra .

It was functional, reception spaces a little lacking, but staff were polite - and a little slow.

Staff, food, & property were all terrific. We'd absolutely go back & highly recommend it. The only negatives were no pool or fitness facilities.

Poorly located in an area without many services. Polite but indifferent staff. Needlessly expensive poor quality food, with limited choices. Breakfast was minimal.

Very spacious, with its own park to relax in. The meals at the ristorante were excellent. And the staff could not have been more helpful: friendly and anxious to see you are enjoying your stay.

Beautiful hotel did not care for Parma wish we stayed in Verona No pool at the hotel unfortunately

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It’s conveniently located just a short 10 minute walk from all the main attractions. The room was spacious & clean, the piano bar was a great place to stop in for a nightcap. The only qualm I have is that the staff isn’t the most attentive- I would call it leaisurley service. I waited at the front desk for a few minutes before anyone arrived to check me in. I was the only person in the piano bar when I first arrived and it took about 15 minutes to get a cocktail. All in all, it was an absolutely lovely stay but if you’re a traveler with a set schedule, build in some extra time for any of the hotel services.

Hotel was an old hospital.Rooms felt like you were still in a hospital.Area around hotel not very nice.

Amazing furnishing No kettle nor complementary water

The property is very elegant. The suite where the bathroom is downstairs is spacious but the spiral stairs can become tiresome. The only negative for my family is there was not a small gym with this hotel. This was such a small issue that we will return for all of our stays in Parma.

What a grand hotel

Elegant boutique hotel located in a park-like setting just outside the city center. Best to take a cab if you are arriving by train, but once at the hotel, it's an easy and lovely ten to 15-minute walk to get to the main part of town. Our room, which we expected to be basic, was instead enormous and beautifully decorated. Very quiet and great for sleeping. Strong WI-Fi. The marble bath had a double rainhead shower. The hotel was built to be a hospital and has grand proportions. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and delicious, with the added bonus of optional garden tables outside. The staff was wonderful -- friendly and extremely helpful. As hotels go, this one is a special gem!

The hotel is amazing... Really beautiful public rooms and bedrooms. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was very good. The bar room is quite beautiful..The ONLY negative was the price of drinks in the bar. They are just about double what they should cost. The walk to the center of town takes about 15 minutes.

Bad layout of the room, reception room first, then bedroom and bath in the basement. Strange and not functional!

It is a wonderful hotel located 15 minutes from city centre.Access to all major POI in Parma. Room is clean and reasonable size and comfortable.The only issue we had is lack of service in the bell service. We checked in on Saturday afternoon and found no bellboy available to help us for the 4 big luggage to our rooms. We check out on Sunday, and there are no bellboy working eother. otherwise everthing is great.
