It was very quiet and peaceful.

Checked in and the freezer was open due to a Dr. Pepper freezing and exploding all over the place. The floor was wet and the room smelled from the Dr. Pepper. Went down and told the front desk but they had no solution.
Shower had great pressure but "screamed" when it was on. Felt bad for the neighbors who had to listen to the screaming shower when we got back to the hotel after midnight.
Lucky the bed was super comfortable and we were only staying for one night.

We stopped here during our cross country move from Oregon to North Carolina. We had a 5 year old with us. The coffee pot had not been cleaned, our grandson found a pill on the floor and there was no way to plug up the bathtub for a bath. Less than what we expected.

For a 5 month old hotel it is unfortunate that it is deteriorating from lack of maintenance. There were holes in the walls in my room.

This was a very nice, quiet hotel! If you like a soft bed when you travel, this place has it, it was like sleeping on a cloud. It was very obvious upon arrival that the Sweetwater Lodge was going through renovations when we arrived, but even through that it was still clean. Once completely renovated, it will definitely be a beautiful place to stay! The check-in process was easy, and seamless. The woman at the counter was extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend, even through the renovation process.

On first sight, the room looked great, very modern and light. Come to load the fridge and there was a half eaten takeaway just sitting there. We got the maid to dispose of it.
There wasn't a plug in the bath tub or the sink (makes having a 'wet shave' tricky, so had to organise that as well.
Although it was early, (19:00) it sounded like they were remodelling next doors room, went on till 9 ish.
No noise during the night, slept well on huge bed.
Breakfast was ok, a decent mix of stuff : scrambled eggs, porridge, cereal , waffle maker ect, ect.

The staff was nice, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast was excellent (fresh scrambled eggs). The room wasn't great: There was paper rolled up and pushed into the holes in the walls. One of the three lights in the dim bathroom was out. The edges of the bed were not clean - there was hair and glitter in the edges. I think with some TLC, this place could be rated higher.

The stay was meant to be one-night as a part of a long road trip, but I enjoyed the room and breakfast and affordable price, I stayed an extra night so I could leave early early to beat the heat some. There are some pains with the construction (no pool or spa), some paper construction flooring. Ice machine broken (and especially odd was them neither having an ice bucket in my room nor having any to provide. Really? A 65 cent ice bucket???

The stay was great and the hosts (owners?) were very friendly. Our only complaints were that it was advertised as pet friendly but they don’t allow cats, so our fellow travelers had to go elsewhere. Also, the breakfast wasn’t great - there wasn’t a lot of variety

A little overpriced, this hotel is a good place to lay your head but thats about it. The location and parking were convenient, The front desk staff were friendly and the lobby was modern except for the outdated plastic plants and flowers. The hotel overall needs some updating, the bed’s box springs where exposed and yellow looking, the room furniture was old, they rely on extension cords as some of the outlets don't work, no luggage rack in the room, the breakfast consisted only of waffles, oatmeal and toast. No eggs, no bacon, no sausage as you would find in most hotels breakfast so the food options are limited.

Interesting choice of furnishings - adult film vibe. Mattresses were on a white platform bed with big gap around edges. Needless to say gap was not cleaned and all manner of filth was visible against white background. Window curtains were partially off the hooks making it difficult to fully cover window. Breakfast was adequate but very basic. Owners were very nice and polite. If cleanliness improves, I would consider staying again.

This is a basic hotel that is generally maintained and kept clean but showing some age. Couldn’t buy a soda without small bills. The desk was old school and not good to use a laptop. Internet was a bit unstable. Fine for a family stop but maybe not for work. Quiet.
