Its up on top of a hill so nobody will bother you if you're worried about being in a questionable neighborhood. Check in went fine. Room was clean. Bed was hard as a rock, only got maybe 4 hours of sleep. Couple of things i didn't like. When i booked the room, i requested a room close to an exit. They put us on the top floor. All the rooms are outside accessible so we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get there. Nobody bothered to tell us there was an elevator. You can't see it and it's not obvious. I don't know if this is a PA thing but there's no coffeemakers in the room. If i had known, id have brought one. They have coffee and tea in the check in area (no lobby), so walking up and down 3 flights of stairs again just for my caffeine fix was not ideal. Their website said early check in is available but when i called to inquire about it, they were rude. Basically yelled in my ear that they don't know what to tell me and hung up. Maybe they were just having a bad day. It was just a 1 night stay so it was fine. About a 10min drive to the Mohegan Arena.

The water pressure in the shower was good, and the room was clean if you looked at it without being meticulous. A couple stains here and there. But the bed was officially the most uncomfortable thing I ever slept on. Didn't stay the second night. I booked elsewhere so I could sleep on a real mattress.

We had a pretty good stay, the only thing was the tv became unconnected from the wall, and we couldn’t get it fixed that night because no one was there late at night except the night desk attendant. She tried to fix it, but was unsuccessful so we had to wait for the maintenance man, but he didn’t come til later after we left to go home. So that was a problem, not having enough maintenance men around. So it was fine except for that one issue, but if you go right to sleep when you get back to your room from going out you’re fine.

I would love to give this location 5 stars, but Room 133 completely smells like smoke. It was so bad my clothes and bag smelled of it by the next morning. I did let the staff know, but I didn't ask to switch rooms because they were full and it was 1230 AM when I checked in. The Inn is alright on the outside, but the rooms are very nice. Great size, updated furniture, fridge, microwave, nice bathroom and very clean. Louisa was friendly and very sweet. My only complaint is the smell of smoke in Room 133. Something has to be done to air it out.

Everything was great except the bed was too hard for us, and for me, two sheets on the bed isn’t enough weight to sleep well.

Very affordable motel. I traveled with 2 small dogs, they were very easy to stay with having pets and affordable with the pet fee. I would/will be booking here again.

English is the second language to the operator so it was difficult to understand them. There was no WiFi which is unheard of today. It should be noted that a $50 security deposit is collected at check-in... this is very inconvenient and there was no receipt for it except through my bank.

Overall I’d recommend this place and would stay there again. The place is extremely dog friendly. Most guests had their dogs with them. The property is very private and quiet. If you’re travelling on a budget, it’s a nice decent place to stay! My girlfriend sprayed some frabreeze on the dog carpet and problem solved.

You should not be fooled by the promotional photos. As soon as we entered the room, we saw 2 big bugs on the floor and we had to kill them. Other parts of the room were also dirty and dusty. I don't think I will stay in this hotel again
