It’s right on the beach. That was the best part of the hotel. Very very convenient for everything around the hotel.

How the mighty have fallen. Our stay two years ago was such an amazing time. This time was such a disappointment. The room was so tiny, my wife and I could not move around in the same space at the same time. Just because you can put a king bed in a room, doesn’t mean you should put a king bed in a room. The end of the bed was so close to the dresser we could barely put our clothes away and if you had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, good luck making it there without slamming I to the baseboard or the dresser. The walls are so thin, we had to listen to loud music and kids playing and banging on the walls the first three night there and a baby crying the last two nights. And every time the room next to us slammed their door the headboard of the bed would slam up against the wall. The outrageous parking fee is acceptable until you realize how much you’ve spent for the tiny room and noisey, sleepless nights. And the pot smokers will be glad to know that the no smoking policy does not apply to pot, since the hotel smells like a marijuana plant. Definitely not worth the money and we will look at other hotels in the area next year.

We will be back. We enjoyed our stay very much. The ocean view was lovely, the staff was great, and we were close to all the attractions we wanted to see.

We enjoyed our week long stay at the Wayfarer. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Perfect location being oceanfront. All of the places we wanted to visit were about 15-20 min Uber rides (SeaWorld, San Diego zoo, Balboa Park, La Jolla, etc). Rooms were nice. Had one issue the entire week and it was resolved very quickly. Would stay here again!

Amazing location and great customer service provided at the front desk. My room was clean and the location felt safe. If you are sensitive to noise, you might want to bring ear plugs. I was able to hear people in the room next to me talking and even when they sneezed. This didn’t bother me personally, but just a heads up. If I come back and need a spot next to the beach again, I will be booking another room here.

Amazing location right at the Mission beach and lots of food options nearby

The Wayfarer is the perfect beachside destination, right on the Mission Beach/Pacific Beach boardwalk, and just steps away from the beach. You can roll out of bed and go surfing. The Wayfarer has a nice pool deck for guests as well. The property is right in the middle of all of the Pacific Beach action, with tons of places to eat and drink nearby, as well as the sweet on-site Zephyr Cafe. There is parking available on-site as well, which is essential because there aren't many street parking options. The staff was amazing and housekeeping was excellent. Stay at the Wayfarer for the best time in SD/PB!

This hotel has the best view. Has pool and jacuzzi looking out at the ocean.

Great and friendly staff

Everyone at the Wayfarer is great, from the checkin when our room was ready early, to the cleaning staff, to the Maintenace guy that help carry my daughters luggage down the stairs (wish I would have got his name) when we checked out. Thank you to everyone and we will see you all again soon!

We had a great stay at The Wayfarer. The staff was helpful and the area was amazing - lots to do and everything of interest was typically 20 minutes away by car. Lots of hotel parking available (although pricey). Restaurants were plentiful nearby and our kiddo took surfing lessons right off the beach! Would recommend.

We stay here every year, in an oceanfront room in our summergetaway from the nevada heat. Love it. Great staff and service. Walk or quick lyft to great restaurants and attractions. Vegas producer

The property was great and we loved the fact that it was right on the beach. The only disappointment was that I left my white gold chain with a round diamond pendant in the room and when I returned it had disappeared. The staff and the management wasn’t able to retrieve it. So it’s not safe to leave your valuable belongings in there rooms unless you put them in the safe which I regret not putting it there.

Place was clean and nice! Rooms were spacious with nice furniture and a balcony. My only complain was that the TVs were outdated, so we could not stream or screenplay. The wifi was also weak. But the staff was super nice and helpful! Parking was convenient but expensive. But the close proximity to the beach made it all worth it! Second time staying here and I would stay again.

Amazing staff and property. Perfect location to enjoy ocean and views. Pool area was so well kept and fun. Walkable to many great dining and shopping options. Would definitely book again!!!
