Glen was exceptional at check in. Room was lovely, clean and had a wonderful view of a garden. Hotel is quiet, traditional and has lots of character. Twigs is a nice evening meal venue and the service is wonderful.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The location is wonderful, the hotel is comfortable and charming. I highly recommend it.

Lovely comfortable country inn.
The room was large and well appointed.
The only disappointments were a breakfast buffet more like in a chain motel than a fancy inn (surprising at the price) and that one of the two EV charging ports was broken.

I travel quite a bit for business and I stay at the Simsbury Inn every time I am working in the area.
I have stayed in most all other hotels in the Hartford, West Hartford, Farmington area and I choose the Simsbury Inn over all others.
When I pull in the driveway, I feel a sense of relief.
The staff are warm , welcoming and friendly. It’s nice to be recognized each time I go back.
The Inn has everything I need. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate.
The daily continental breakfast that is offered is first class. By far is so much better than all the other hotels I have stayed at in the area.
The Simsbury Inn is the next best thing to being home.
I’ll be back next month.

I stay here every time I come to the area for business.
It has everything I need.
The staff is exemplary. It is so nice to come back time and time again and be greeted like I was family.
I have stayed in most every hotel in the area and The Simmsbury Inn by far is my choice. I don’t mind driving the extra couple of miles.

wonderful staff at front desk and wonderful lady who worked in the bar/restaraunt... so kind and helpful and gave us great food suggestions.. rooms were clean and nice

It is a lovely hotel. My only criticism is the pool. It could use a fresh coat of paint. But everything else was great. We ate in the restaurant, which had live music. We had a really early start but I was still able to grab something from the continental breakfast! When we checked it, they had complimentary wine. It really is a nice place and I would definitely stay again if I find myself in the area.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The inn is pretty dated. Housekeeping woke us up early by standing in the hall talking loudly to each other and then slamming/banging around in the rooms. Probably wouldnt stay again.

Stayed for my best friends 50th birthday. When I checked in they provided me with a complimentary bottle of wine. The room was so clean, there were waters and cookies in the room. The next morning there was continental breakfast and an added bonus of a make your own speciality coffee machine.

Overall, a nice place to stay. However, when booking on Expedia you are charged an extra $15 plus tax per person. The hotel clerk explained that for some reason that extra charge is never included by Expedia. I did not appreciate that.
