We traveled with our dog and were told ahead of time that the pet fee was $50, which was the highest of the 5 hotels in which we stayed. When we arrived, we were told that it was $75. With some back and forth we were able to come to an agreement. The large hotel was nearly empty. We were disrupted by the breaking of glass in the room next door. There was some handyman work being done. We just wondered why we were placed in the room right next to the work when the hotel obviously had plenty of space.

Hotel is extremely run down and there is nothing around other than walking distance to the chiefs and royals stadiums.

Location excellent but hotel is dated and tired. Needs a face lift. Heater was set at 77 degrees and couldnt get it any lower than that. very HOT all night

Our second night there we noticed that the smoke detector was covered with plastic so we asked the front desk about it. They told us that people will cover them and smoke in the room. The hotel will charge $300.00 cleaning fee for anyone smoking in a room. This hotel is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. They had the cleaning people remove the plastic. My allergies were really bothering me in this room and now I know why, I am allergic to cigarette smoke. The plastic on the smoke detector should have been found by their staff before we ever checked into the room. If we hadn't found the plastic they may have thought we had done it and tried to charge us for the $300 cleaning fee. More than likely we will not stay at this hotel again.

The heat in the room was not working properly, had to ask for blankets which took over 1 hour to receive.

Location was good and staff was friendly. Heat did not work (it was 40s outside), TV did not work, and ice machine on our floor did not work. Notified front desk but was not fixed.

This place was really nice at first , because
me and my husband need a place to stay while on business. But here lately everytime we have stayed something was wrong . The air conditioning didnt work they was passing out fans , but not explaining this to customer until you complained and you had already checked in so you couldnt refund. Had to stay another time tv didnt work and maintenance explained management knew the tv didnt work also no heat they passed out little heaters that really didnt heat the room and once again didnt explain to customer at front desk that it didnt have heat

This is the most horrible hotel I’ve ever heard anyone talk of! Walking in I knew I wouldn’t stay in what is essentially low budget. The feeling was confirmed by the girl at the front desk who was nothing except bossy and uneducated. I’m embarrassed to have shown up but glad I can afford to leave. There is a hidden-by-waist-high weeds driveway and the entire property is surrounded by dry grass. The only redemption about it is the proximity to the freeway so you can make a quick escape!

It was above average .. we’ve stayed there before so we knew what we were getting …… it needs a hotel bar and better options for food after a game …… the staff and service was very good ……the free breakfast was excellent! If we go to a game again we’ll stay there …..

Thought everything seemed to be going well until I’m eating breakfast in my room at the office desk and a roach ran past me. I got breakfast from your breakfast bar and wanted to eat with my husband in the room. It freaked me out to see a roach. I asked to speak to the manager and even took them the cockroach (now dead thanks to me) and show them they needed to get an exterminator.
Never got a call as promised about any type of compensation or anything. Never stay there again. Don’t need to bring those bugs with me and I pray I didn’t.
