Very accommodating especially with late late night check in.

Initially the hotel looked really nice and welcoming. Once in the room for a while it became very hot. The AC was not cooling the room off. We manually turned down the thermostat to make sure it was at its lowest temperature. We then reached out to the front desk for a fan. Staff said they’d look for one but then never got back to us. Both my husband and I woke up several times though out the night sweating and trying to catch our breath. Yes it was that hot. Come to find out the next morning that they put the heat on throughout the hotel because a guest said they were cold. Never were we offered a new room (apparently the rooms on floor 2 were cold) or given a heads up when we checked in. When we spoke to the front desk staff in the morning they were very dismissive and stated that they were not working last night and what would you like me to do about it. During breakfast we heard other guests complaining that they slept terrible last night because of the heat. At checkout my husband also gave them a heads up that the AC filter was filthy and still gross after we attempted to clean it. A manager or owner happened to overhear our conversation and apologized for what happened and offered to partially comp us for the room. The front desk staff then attempted to apologize and say that they should have responded differently. Overall it was a nice hotel and restaurant but given the initial service we received we will likely not be coming back.

Very pleasant stay. Spacious and clean room, good breakfast included in price of the room, polite and effort customer service, excellent value for price paid.

New, updated interiors, clean, quiet, close to downtown Concord. Would consider staying again, when next in town

I absolutely love staying here. Not only is it very clean, staff goes the extra mile with service you don’t see anywhere else. The lovely restaurant within the hotel is a rare fine dining experience. Plan on visiting again soon!

What a cool old building that’s been converted to a lovely hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable and I loved the bathroom!

This was a fantastic find. I would definitely stay here again. It was much better than staying a a chain hotel. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel is very convenient to the downtown area. We stayed in one of the turret rooms and had a porch that we could sit on. The room was very large with a sitting area. It is an old building but everything inside is modern. Just a great experience overall. Room was clean and there was lots of convenient parking. There is also a restaurant in the hotel.

Lovely property, clean and updated rooms. We were able to easily walk to the state building and there were plenty of resataurants to choose from in walking distance.

I enjoyed staying this clean hotel. The property was missing a full time manager and had few very efficient staff. It look like the hotel was in the process of hiring more staff. There was no happy hour as there as not enough staff. I am not a drinker so I really do not need a happy hour. The hotel located a short half mile walk to many restaurants. It has a small exercise room.

The hotel is beautiful but the room smelled & should have been cleaner, especially because of its reputation for being one of the nicest hotels in Concord.

We didn't learn this until check in and were further confused when the room service menu was placed in our pillow in spite of the service being unavailable. No glasses in the room, yet a tiny ice bucket. Continental Breakfast was pretty industrial tasting, given the emphasis on Farm to Table for their restaurant. Definitely a disappointment.

Nice Hotel. Disappointed that the restaurant was not open on Sundays and Mondays. Our stay was on a Sunday and one of the reasons we chose this hotel was so that we thought we would not need to go out for dinner. Nonetheless the staff were helpful.
