While we were there we experienced as musty mold smell it was in the bathroom shower area and I had trouble breathing and even walking down the hallway bothered me! There is a big crack on the wall in hallway! Also we didn't get room service everyday for towels and toilet paper. Had to remind them twice in an hour period of time. Plus we where there for three nights and there was a lot of noise with people slamming doors to their rooms as they were smokers going in and out to much and didn't want to use their door key card instead they just put the bar across the door and then let it slam shut against it as they went outside and down the hall one to many times! Also the toilet was way too small ! More like child size toilet and all they could say was well we are doing some changes to the toilets but not all rooms are done yet. So I'll never stay there again !

Comfort Inn - Pocono Mountains, people pay money to get a good, clean, and comfortable place to stay. They also expect a pest-free environment free of expired, moldy food. Do better - much better

Its a low price stay and our stay was fine. Could use a little more cleaning, a little more repairs, a new shower curtain. Bed was comfortable are pillows were awesome. Door didnt lock one morning but they fixed it. Our stay was as expected, would stay here again if on a budget

Staying at comfort inn was suprising to say the least. Ive never stayed at an establishment this dirty, non maintained before. Staff was incredibly rude and did not provide any assistance as well. Take my advice: pay and extra $30 or drive 15 more mins to stay at a better place

The front desk women are very rude, mold,dirt in the room 😑 we left and couldn't stay there, very bad experience, i will never go there again

The room was good for what we needed. The elevator is very small.

When viewing the reviews on this property prior to my stay I couldn't understand why there were both 5 star ratings and 1 star ratings given by prior guests. I can't ever imagine how some people concluded this was a 5 star property (it is run down appearing, staff likely making minimum wage do not go out of their way in any capacity), but it is certainty better than a rating of 1. This hotel was approximately half the cost of others in the area, so best put I would say that you should expect to get what you pay for. There are stains on ceiling tiles and carpets, but it does look like they make an effort to keep the guest rooms clean and provide basis amenities. We saw no sign of insects, water pressure was good, and in our case it met the criteria we were looking for - pet friendly, has an indoor pool, and the location. Would not be my first choice to stay here again, but it met our needs.
