As Miami locals who've admired the Clevelander's iconic party atmosphere for over 30 years, we were excited to finally book a room for two nights. Sadly, our experience fell short of expectations. Breakfast Blues Our breakfast, consisting of a croissant and coffee, required a block-long trek with my impairment of my knee and waiting in line. Not the start we had envisioned. Restricted Access and Disrespect Despite a sign at the counter claiming we had access to the entire building, we were denied entry to the pool. On the rooftop, where we were the only guests, security guard Joshua confronted us rudely for having two beers on the table. He accused us of intending to get drunk and even suggested we might jump off the roof. When we asked for a manager, Joshua made a call and then allowed us to stay until 11 pm, but no manager was available. Miscommunication and False Promises After going downstairs to speak with a manager, we were informed that no manager or supervisor was on duty. Head of security, Michael, explained the misunderstanding and said we could stay on the rooftop until whenever we wished. Went back to rooftop.Later, a staff member promised a bottle of wine would be sent to our room as an apology, but it never arrived before our checkout. Final Thoughts This experience was disheartening, to say the least. We hope the Clevelander addresses these issues to prevent future guests from facing similar disappointments. Specially the locals that we admire you so much.

If you are looking for THEE SPOT to be it definitely is that! It takes off all night! Staff was AMAZING! Thanks Michelle for all you do!!❤️ Although my room didn’t have a fridge or microwave (which Michelle sent one to the room) the hotel is very convenient to EVERYTHING! There is a DJ, dance floor, bar with pool party’s ALL night! Found out that Clevelander is THEE SPOT! Enjoy!

I liked the location the staff the room was cozy

This is definitely a party hotel. You can hear the music from your room until about 3 am. But it’s a lot of fun if you attend the day party or night club. The area was convenient, you can walk up and down the street filled with restaurants, shops, the beach is right across the way and the Versace mansion is right next door.

Would not stay again. Staff was unengaged, unhelpful, inconsiderate, and the last goes on. The bathroom was gross. I do not recommend.

awful service, but also I was charged a fee of 50 dollars for checking out 5 minutes after 11:00am totally wouldn’t recommend this stay, as the elevators are always dirty, the halls smell awful and the service desk is very limited to help you.

bait and switch. the rooms look nothing like the photos, the staff is no help. the walls are thin and can hear music thumping until 4pm from the club outside. at one point a gentleman in the hallway was trying to swim into a picture. if you’re looking for a crack induced getaway, this is your place.

I didn't like the fact that on line you advertise a pool and you dont! Your guest(a paying guest staying at your hotel)should not have to be searched going to supposedly to your pool!

The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. Slamming doors in the night and loud voices - BUT I half expected that so wasn't really bothered. The front desk staff were unique, quirky, sassy, and fun. We loved them all but the beds were horrible and the room was tiny. Good price to be in the center of Ocean Drive. Room smelled of cleaning products - I think it was coming through the AC vent
