For Canadians who travel in Europe it is a surprise that hotels do not offer included parking and breakfast and often no coffee makers in the rooms. However, this one had a nice buffet breakfast for just 10 Euro. Also, Lidl, an affordable grocery store is just 5 min walk under highway. Nice restaurant in the lobby.

Not a four star. No air conditioning in the room. We had to lest the windows open during the night.The room was more simple than expected, so the common areas.

The room was spacious for a family, quiet and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The food for dinner was a help yourself buffet which was really nice as was the breakfast - both had plenty of choice. It was nice to be so close to the River Moselle for an evening stroll. We would stay here again.

This is not a 4* hotel. Maybe it used to be but it lacks the facilities required to be 4*. The room contained no coffee/tea or spoons. The room was very basic. And the restaurant was closed (we stayed on a friday night) despite the website saying it was open. It was decent for a 3*, but poor for a 4*.

Good hotel, kind personell but at least an half hour walk from the city with no othen options to get there but you own transport. Wished they had bikes to borrow or even hire

Condition of rooms is pretty average, it’s a bit outdated. Very limited amenities in the room. Also bear in mind there is no phone in the room, so for any request you’d need to go to the reception.

I came in the evening and continued my journey right after waking up in the morning.
I can only criticize the room and the service I received at the reception.
The room was clean and stylish for my taste. The price-quality ratio was very good. The service was professional and the English language skills were excellent.

This morning the reception was empty tried to call someone but nobody was there so I had to leave the keys at the empty desk

I've booked an executive room just to have better internet as internet is not good on superior room, I'm a return guest and I'm amazed that the room (311) furniture is not as usual no place to put the luguage etc... the equipement og the room is not corresponding to the executive rooms
staff has also changed not for the better, there's no 24 hrs reception available and unfortunatly now even for business trips you have to pay city taxe in Trier

We had a double room (rooms adjoining) which was perfect for us as a family with a very large main bedroom. Just what we needed.
