The MTN House is a beautiful, new hotel with helpful front desk staff. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are large with great views. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed here the night after our wedding and it was wonderful! They left us a special message in the room that made us feel extra celebrated and we really appreciated the extra effort. Great cocktails and delicious food in the restaurant. Great hotel!

Loved our stay and the town of Canmore

Our room faced the highway, so slightly noisy. Apart from that, very hard to fault the room, facilities and friendly helpful staff.

Room was not ready but we enjoyed the stay.

Nice hotel but being on a highway it is a long walk to downtown Canmore. Otherwise you can drive and pay for parking as there is no free parking. Their restaurant doesn't offer a full breakfast either.

Check-In very friendly and helpful. Food service was average at best. Staff friendly but poorly trained and organized. Orders for appetizers and mains both mixed up and not as ordered. Coffee machine in room didn’t work. There is likely better value elsewhere in Canmore!

They don’t have gym or swimming pool, other than that we enjoyed our stay

The property seems fairly new and looks really posh. I loved the wraps at their restaurant. They have a hot tub which is maintained.

The property was clean and the staff was polite. Unfortunately, they werent able to give us the room we booked, so we had issues as we had someone with accesibility needs.

The property is gorgeous, newly built. However, you can tell that the owner bought the cheapest material to make the property look fancy. Some things started falling of the wall, in the elevators, or you saw areas in need of repairs (already) even though the hotel was recently built. The spa was under renovation, so we could not experience that. The eatery in the lobby did not have much variety. But the hotel itself is maybe a five minute drive into town, so the location is perfection. Nestled in the mountains, so the views are amazing. The beds were comfortable and shower pressure was great. Good ambiance in the room. Parking was very limited and one night we had to park in the overflow lot, but one staff member told us we could not park there because of the construction taking place - we were nowhere near the construction zone and were not the only hotel guests who had to park there. That said, I would likely stay at the hotel again. It was safe and convenient, and very close to town. Because we had a car, we were able to do daily drives to the lakes we wanted to see; all very beautiful with mountain views and all with the same blue green waters. A great area to visit for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Perfect property set in tranquility and serene, calm environment, away from the hustle bustle and not so far from the mountains / Banff downtown. Cherry on the cake was the online check-in and check-out. Super convenient and efficient! Way to go!!!!

Amazing location and staff

We had a great experience at MTN House Basecamp and would definitely stay there again. The property was clean, staff was friendly and it was in close proximity to national parks, restaurants, and town centre. The only thing I thought was a little off was that our room was not cleaned without requesting it. However on a day we did not request it, someone came and cleaned our bathroom and replaced our towels. Little inconsistency there but overall, it was a great place to stay and I have no doubt we will come back.
