We initially only booked one nights stay but upon opening the door to number 6, we knew we had to book another night.
The room had the most amazing views over the bay and the lagoon out to the mountains. The bedding was superb and the turn down service was unexpected and a delight to return to.
Room 6 was 🔥
The hotel bar and rooftop terrace were spacious, and comfortable with the same great views out room offered.
The staff were great and on hand to answer any questions and attend to every need. We ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel and the highlights were the chocolate pistachio croissant and the pulled chicken nachos 😍

A great hotel, where staff worked well as a team to make us feel welcome and ensure we were comfortable during our stay. The hotel is in a lovely setting, on the main road but at one end, so that you are close to everything, but at the same time, feel like you are tucked into a quiet corner of the town when you are ready to wind down. The restaurant was fantastic and the decor was so lovely. Great job, team Ivory Haus! I recommend this hotel!

A great hotel, where staff worked well as a team to make us feel welcome and ensure we were comfortable during our stay. The hotel is in a lovely setting, on the main road but at one end, so that you are close to everything, but at the same time, feel like you are tucked into a quiet corner of the town when you are ready to wind down. Newly refurbished property in good condition with fabulous views across Plettenberg Bay from the restaurant and rooftop bar. Staff were friendly but on the busy weekend we were here, the service was very slow. The room was nicely appointed but noisy from the restaurant and rooftop bar. Music was started at 800am and was loud and clear in the bedroom. Rather quirkily, the toilet had a Yale lock but no key so we were locked out of our own bathroom for some time. The room may not be suitable for the elderly as there are lots of stairs, the beds are high enough to require a stool to climb onto them and, it's worth noting, the beds are very firm.
