Loved everything about it! Loved the lake and trail, and great breakfast. And that there was an option for dinner and drinks at the Inn.

The property itself is nice and pretty, setting by a lake. However, they changed our room type from two beds to one bed. When we checked in, there are no bath amenities, and bathroom trash was not cleaned. The cold water faucet also didn’t work. Room key was not given to us either, so when we left the room we were not able to come back.

The most unique stay on our whole vacation. Great location/setting. Wish we could have stayed more than one night. Extremely fruendly staff!

Beautiful place, friendly staff, Covid aware. Bed in Smith suite was very uncomfortable, mattress needs to be changed.

Elsa and Chad are the best! :) They are the new managers of Highland Lodge, and they could not be more delightful! Caspian Lake is terrific (mere steps away), and the lodge provides all manner of kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and more. There is tennis and walking trails and every activity you and your family could want! In the evenings, enjoy a specialty cocktail on the porch that overlooks the lake and watch the sunset. Or enjoy one of the nightly food truck options (Sunday - Tuesday) or a delicious dinner on the lawn or wander to one of the nearby "food mecca options" including the famous Cabot Creamery, microbrewery, gastropubs and more! We can't wait to return!

Perfect for a family trip off the beaten path a bit. Everyone was super friendly. Food was great at the lodge. Just what we were looking for to get away with the kids and disconnect. We stayed in a cabin and had plenty of room for a family.

It was cute in an old-fashioned way with cute sitting rooms. Yet it was modern enough with WiFi and a good bar !

I've stayed in a lot of old buildings, this was by far the loudest creaking floor ever. Combine that with a family room right above you, and the entry way right outside your poorly fitting door, and I didn't get much sleep. The upstairs rooms are probably fine.

Beautiful property and lake area with lots of fun kayaks and canoes and floats. This place exceeded my expectations!

Weather was not ideal, but the owner, Heidi was amazing and accommodating in my delay of arrival due to weather. Can't say enough about her hospitality!
