Good beach front location but a fair distance to the main shopping and dining area. Rooms are clean but very tired. Staff are happy and friendly but communication at the reception desk could be improved.

I loved Mercure , Gardens , peaceful , yoga , the beach , beach walk. , breakfast , the room a great size , clean , balcony large and I really enjoyed the pool . I had a relaxing stay.

We hadn’t been to Sanur in over a decade and debated to go with an expensive hotel or look for value for our short 4 night stay before relocating to Legian. We ended up taking the value option and ultimately discovered you get what you pay for. The hotel is very dated and run down. Our room, albeit very clean and comfortable was literally falling apart. The side tables and benches all move when any pressure is placed on them and the 2nd floor balcony railing was loose at one end and ready to completely break. Our electronic door key failed on at least 4 occasions so we couldn’t access room resulting in staff having to bring a laptop and re-program the door. The hire bikes are old, have broken pedals and rusty chains. Breakfast is very basic, lacks flavour and the coffee (when machines aren’t malfunctioning) is disgusting. Having said all that, the location was great, pool always clean and staff were always polite, courteous and expedient in addressing any concerns or bringing amenities to room.

Pool staff need training. Used plates and glasses not collected all day. They should walk around to take orders, not all hang around behind bar. We had to go up to them to order. This applies to both pools.

Happy friendly staff. Great response to feedback and terrific exec room. Good location. Didnt really vibe the breakfast buffet but amazing gluten free/vegan cafe in site was awesome. Thx Mercure great stay

The rooms were all clean but some are a bit on the tired side. The location is great and is within walking distance to restaurants both along the beach front and street. The seafood bbq on the beach at the hotel offered a good selection tasty dishes. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great spacious garden wth bungalows spacious interiors. Use recycling of waste and refillable glass water bottles. Friendly and helpful staff, thin pillow available on request!! I needed a thinner pillow and any housekeeping at 9.30pm, delivered in 10 mins!! Great pools.

Good traditional Bali accomodation. The property is old but has the character of old Bali. Upkeep would be a problem for the expansive property but the staff do very well. Very comfortable.

We checked in late but was provided a big private waiting area with a bathroom included. I recommend everyone come here.

Although an older establishment the Mercure was clean and well maintained. Beautiful grounds surround the accomodation. The Mercure is at the beach and central to the footpath that allows you to walk for ages. Friendly staff, clean pools and great food all add to the experience.

Beach side restaurant staff were worst. We were eating but they were cleaning using chemical soap. The soap smell chemical and the smell coming to our table by sea wind in the outside restaurant. The food taste was damadged by the smell/ The stuff of the retaurant never apologizeed to this action. I will never use the restaurant. The stuff manner was the worst. The also gage us the change of bill by the dirty bill of local money. Is this their manner of the job?
