Wow, the desk clerk who greeted us was very nice, the motel overall was quite shotty. The bed was uncomfortable, the refrigerator made a high screech pitch to the point where we had to unplug it, and the heater cycled randomly. And the breakfast was absolutely the most bare bones we’ve ever ever experienced. We won’t be back to this hotel.

I relieved a good suggestion on where to go for dinner.
This was important as many of the restaurants were closing as it was near 8:00 pm on a weekday.
I showed up late for the continental breakfast, just as the manager was cleaning up.
She kindly offered to keep it open until I had something to eat and drink.
Real nice to get that cup of coffee!
The manager and I had a friendly conversation.
She was the highlight of my visit.

It was hot and the AC ran around the clock. Very noisy at night. But the room was cleaned every day which was a pleasant surprise since Covid. The bed was comfortable and my privacy was nice.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lacking even for a continental breakfast. Something about ego waffles screams cheap.

The property is dated and needs to be upgraded. Carpets in our room were stained and dirty. No amount of vacuuming can clean the carpets. They need to be removed and replaced with a laminate or tile.
Otherwise cleanliness was very good. Service from the front desk was friendly and fast. Maid service was excellent, breakfast was very basic yet good enough for a satisfying breakfast.
I was happy with my stay.

They imposed a $28 resort fee that was not included when I made the reservation. Rather than simply checking in, you are directed to another person for your room key who tries to sell you.

Check in was fast and easy. Traveling by myself and small dog. Room was clean, quiet.
However i don't understand the resort fee of $5.00, unless it is to use the pool. I have never considered Bishop a resort area in all of the years i have gone there.

We just needed a place to sleep and shower in the morning as we were traveling home from a trip. Luis at the front desk was wonderful, the hotel itself is older and needs a makeover.

Room carpet was extra damp. The front desk said they had shampoo it earlier in the day. It was too late to ask to change rooms because all of our stuff was in the room. So I asked for more towels to put on the carpet so we would keep getting our socks and feet wet and to keep from slipping Also missing fire extinguisher outside.
