Situated above an amazing ocean cove, this Inn offered us an great view on our patio and we listened to the ocean all night. The room was clean and tidy, the King bed was comfortable and the shower provided plenty of hot water. The onsite restaurant The Wave, while providing a wonderful ocean view, left a bit to be desired in the food category and service was slow. One lovely lady appeared to be serving as well as preparing all by herself. The complimentary breakfast was pretty sparse and the coffee was not good. Don't imagine you can get any kind of early checkin cuz the lobby was closed until 302pm.

You cant beat the friendliness of the staff! They learn your name and treat you like they favorite family! I am so thankful, they could charge so much more and still take of us by keeping it all affordable! Karen, owner, was so friendly and helpful, even will run out and help you park, very helpful and you can tell she is proud of her baby! Shar, Shar is absolutely marvelous! A gem of a woman! Always with a smile and a greeting! They make you feel like you are the most important person in the world! Black owned! Woman owned! Best place I have stayed EVER! IT THE PERSONAL TOUCH!

Unnecessarily hard to find, given worthless directions. No address, navigator could not find by name. All that was needed: at south end of business district take Iversen Av to end, then turn right. Terrible parking/building configuration. Drive to office and find no parking. Forced to back out 100 yds.—if not blocked in. From lower parking lot forced to climb or descend steep hill on every trip from/to car. Room was large and comfortable. Balcony with ocean view. Jacuzzi was incredibly noisy and produced bubbles not worth the bother. No good restaurants in immediate area. Japanese restaurant is best in town. it had no sign out front but is very close to Iversen.

Stay was great room was a little dated could use an upgrade and no cell service here at all (att) but wifi worked great. Pizza at the bottom of the hill was great too

My wife and I travel all over the country and Wharf Master’s Inn is easily in the top 5 stays. It isn’t cheap but it is worth every penny. We started the evening at the Wave Lounge (on site dinner). The cook, server, cleaner, etc for the Lounge (Shar) was phenomenal. She was welcoming, warm and bright. Food was delicious and the view of the ocean can’t be described. Our room, the superior port, had a great view of ocean through the sliding door. We always walk the room to ensure the room is clean and we didn’t find any issues. The in-room jacuzzi was a hit with my wife! The ONLY negative I have for our stay was that we were in the area for only one night. I wish I had time for a week at this place. Do I recommend? Most definitely and we will be telling everyone about our experience. Well done!

4.8 STARS This is one of our favorite places! The ocean view (from balcony and bed) was fantastic. The staff was amazing. The room was very clean and well maintained. - Unfortunately, the wifi was very poor. In an area with no cell service to speak of, this was a problem.

The room was perfect. They offer breakfast and dinner at the property. We had breakfast there. It was delicious. You can walk down the hill and there’s a cute little restaurant and coffee shop as well.
