It was AWFUL. The manager was so totally rude and condescending every time I had to deal with him. I drove 17 hours through the night because I was staying a month. He absolutely would not let me check in early and I got to town at 1130-12. I had a space heater for heat and it snowed the first 2 days I was there. After the first week it warmed up and I had no ac. I was told to open the window. I’m a day sleeper so u can imagine just how much sleep I got with the window open blowing hot air in, hearing every word spoken including some man near my door screaming at his kid. The final straw on a Sunday afternoon I was laying in my bed sweating and he walked into my room. No knock no nothing. That’s just a few of the highlights. I will NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER EAPECIALLY ROCK SPRINGS WYOMING

Bad experience. Person at the desk was not very helpful. 1st this Motel 6 in under going re model 1st floor rooms not avaible. 2nd floor rooms had no AC, person at desk said they would bring in portable AC quickly But then key (card sensor) did not work. Person at desk came out and saw my card sensor was not working so he used his. Got me into the room, but then I realized he gave me his MASTER sensor card, I could get into any room (I checked on a couple rooms)> I went to desk and told him about giving me Master sensor card, and thought that was not a good idea (I have /had no bad intentions) He switched the card and moved me to a 3rd room . I decided it was too much hassle, and asked for a refund and went to a different hotel. When I was there another person was having difficulties with the check in person. This other person ALREADY paid for his room and it had cleared his bank. But the check in person, said that his card was not working. I do not know the outcome of this but it was not looking good. Desk check in person was not helpful and did not seem to know what he was doing

When to motel 6 the room was dirty towels had stain carpet had not been vacuum the shower still had water in it toilet had not been clean when if they had aother and got told no even though it had its vacancies on so i had to book a different hotel thier special is a scam

Do not stay here! Or room didn’t even have a working smoke detector. I don’t even think that’s legal! When I asked to be moved to a room that had one, I was told they were full up even though no one was or is here. The light fixtures are stained or shredded. The ac doesn’t work. The light in the bathroom flickers so much, it’s a good thing I’m not prone to seizures. This property should be permanently removed from all reputable platforms.

Very disappointing. The check-in clerk was not friendly at all. My grown son had to push the door really hard with his shoulder to get it to open. There were no wash cloths or a trash can in the room. The towels looked like they were really old and worn out. There was no AC. Luckily for us the temps were only in the mid 60's. The room had two double beds and they were jambed against the walls. They had two ice machines and neither of them worked. The only decent thing was the price. We've stayed at a lot of Motel 6's and always had a good experience. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place.

Bathroom toilet doesnt work. Heat doesnt work. Holes in the walls. One person in the front desk hiding in the back. Im a person that never complains or ever gets on any kinda of social media. But this place should not be on your web site.

Unclean and staff charged additional fees. I about froze during the night. Heat did not work.

It has been a while since I wrote a bad review for a motel, but I had a big issue with this property. Arrived into town, booked a room minutes before pulling into the Motel 6, and tried to check in. The evening manager said that the water had been off for a while because of a frozen pipe (it is Wyoming in the winter) and that he recommended I cancel and stay elsewhere because there was no estimate of when the water would be running again. The plumber told me outside, when I was booking another room, that it would be a while and it would be wise to go elsewhere. The plumber and the front desk were in a small argument and it is after 9 PM; not a good sign. I contacted Hotels.com customer service the next morning and told them of the issue. The Motel 6 Rock Springs manager decided he was going to deny the request for my cancellation that could get my one nights stay money back. I do not think this is fair at all; that person knew about lack of water and I don't know how 2 people could have used the toilet, let alone shower or get a drink of water. Things happen, especially in frigid weather, and ethical businesses look beyond a cancellation policy and make things right. Sad that you decided to keep the money; you didn't really have a motel room to rent.

It’s perfect!!!! It’s a cheap stay, all I needed.

The floors were dirty. We walked around in our socks and the bottom of the socks were blackened. Flimsy cheap washcloths. Outside area around door was dirty. Mattress on bed was uncomfortable. Very disappointed. Will not be staying there again.

No receipt for client. Because of that company did not reimburse me.

The problems i reported could have been addressed. I was reminded of the discount. Soap is cheap. Elbow grease is cheaper. Neither have anything to do with remodeling.

Well. Not as clean as it could have been- everything was in disrepair- the water was hot but the water pressure was terrible- towels were stained and there was a heavy disinfectant smell to everything- it was inexpensive which was good-

The manager was very rude and needs a few lessons in customer service and good manners.

Dirty sheets the ac didn’t work smelled like mold

Heater made noises as If It was about to come rumbling down and the price was not charged correctly from Hotels.com . Called and was told that It would be compensated otherwise It would’ve been a huge Issue. The room was In terrible condition walls were peeling and bathroom door would not shut, but I had no choice but to stay because of how tired me and my family were.

Curtains were not all the way hooked on the rod, no wash clothes, no soap, shampoo, etc. Refrigerator smelled and freeze was full of water, very few options on TV for children and not the cleanest. And, No coffee pot but did have a small microwave. No heat but the office furnished a space heater. Outside was not maintain and several piles of dog poop. And, for some reason he charged me about $20 less then i was quoted online, which made it a little more in comparison.

Blankets smell like pet urine and had stains. Heat did not work and it was very cold. Bed was very hard and garbage all over the grounds outside.

This is an older Motel 6 undergoing extensive renovation. Our room was the classic Motel 6 room, clean, comfortable and basic. No complaints. A good stay at Motel 6 price.

We had two rooms, and the AC/Heat didn’t work in either.

Employee, Ram, was friendly andhelpful. Above and beyond.

Reserved a room with two beds and when we arrived, they didn’t have one.

While the staff is friendly they are not all skilled at their jobs, but make an effort. The Motel is in the process of renovation so some difficulties are not the fault of the facility. However working thermostats at this time of year is a complete requirement.

Always ask for one of the recently renovated rooms! Those are decent, with comfortable beds. We were in 205, which was satisfactory.

The heavyset man at the desk was arrogant and rude to my husband. It is cold here in late Sept, but he said they don’t turn on the heat til winter! He grudgingly gave us a heater, which flipped the breaker, and he was rude about flipping it back on again; we had to ask him again!

Both towels were disgusting. One had a blood stain and the other had a huge circular tear towards a corner. Also, there was a trash can under the P trap in the bathroom because it leaked so badly. Here’s an idea: Fix the leak amd THEN give out the room. Also, the shower was not cleaned and the water pressure was terrible. After seeing that, I grabbed a sleeping bag out of the car and slept on top of the bed. By the way, the fact that they are remodeling has NOTHING to do with how poor the room was. Obviously, no one there cares if the shower is not cleaned and the P trap is cracked.

Old motel that is kept clean within the limits of it’s age. Beds were decent! $59 as opposed to the $130-160/night options nearby was good value.

Property was dated, as expected, so no issue there. Hair on the sink and one in bathtub. Noticed this morning the bathtub faucet had a steady trickle. I couldnt turn it off. When i checked in, i was told the AC only worked on low setting. I didn’t notice even that working.
