i managed my expectations about mexico (i'm traveling from the USA), so for the price i paid...i definitely got it. there were basic things that were lacking (coffee table, towel rack, etc) but it had the essentials (bed, towels, toiletries, etc). the door key is OG metal, and gets stuck in the door all the time...in fact, the door itself sticks and you have to slam it shut (sorry neighbors). other reviews said they had staff break into their rooms and steal, which i (thankfully) did not experience. the location is 10/10, but the building is in poor condition and the staff are completely inept. took me 2 hours to check-in my room due to hurry up and wait by dumb and dumberers. cleaning staff did a great job considering we had 2 dogs - they swept and mopped everyday, and kept the towels and toiletries stocked. food at the on-site restaurant was pretty tasty, although overpriced for mexico and one night made me sick. restaurant staff are also always sitting around doing nothing. service for the overall place = 0. i hear there are "nicer" places to stay, but for a long weekend it wasn't the worst. i felt safe and it was quiet and convenient, with security and 2 private beaches. not sure if i would stay again, but definitely not my first choice.

Very relaxing and comforting. Staff was really welcoming and helpful. Safe place and if you love the ocean heating the waves was amazing. You get breakfast, chilaquiles, only option , but still good :).

I stay here in the penthouse for my son’s wedding, our room didn’t have closet area to hang out our clothes, no iron, we did feel like we did stay in a cabin in the mountains.
I did request extra towels at reception, and after 30 minutes waiting, I ended up getting it myself from laundry room.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I read the reviews i was a 50/50 if we should stay or not. We went for it. For our experience I love the room 3rd floor, entering they had an air wick it smell Hawaiian pineapple, room clean, 1st thing you see as entering is the view of the ocean. We as family stayed at few hotels but to be honest this was our first hotel they had youtube and netflix for kids to watch. My kids they absolutely love the front beach next to hotel restaurant they have soccer balls, tennis racket, volleyball for kids to play. Also recommend their breakfast rice pudding, red & green chilaquiles delicious.
Last minute we decided to stay 1 more night but unluckily everything was booked. One thing they should do upgrade is the bathroom floor was dirty yellowish on the edges of the shower.
But yes i will booked again at this hotel.

I had read many negative reviews, but was positively surprised. My room had very cold air conditioning, which was nice because it was an extremely hot day. Staff was professional. The view from the room was amazing. I was only a few feet from a nice beach. The location felt safe. The security staff appeared alert and aware of everyone coming in and out of the resort.

We stayed here several times & we like the location. The hotel is on the cliffs with a spectacular view from the patio. We love the location. The restaurant from the Sunio Beach Club is very good. Yhere are plenty of good restaurants around. It is only a short drive to Rosarito downtown.

Is the worst hotel in the world why do you do business with it ? Horrible towels dirty. Unusable glasses dirty. Sliding door did not work well. Worst experience ever. I felt that had no choice but stay. How do you do business with this place. Is horrible.

Everything was great, views , room and all BUT…….. the only thing is that for the free breakfast they will give you same EVERYDAY IT WAS Delicious but not everyday other than that it was great!

The place was very outdated , had a beautiful view outside of balcony . But not worth staying for the price it had no fridge nor microwave and it smelled bad outside . Also the hot water took forever . I wouldn’t recommend staying here .

We booked one night the hotel looked a lot more rundown than the pictures shown on multiple websites. The electricity went out intermittently for about an hour between 8pm-9pm. It was frustrating to pay for the suite and have these issues. Especially when you ok it for one night on a busy Saturday. The view was amazing though.
